Ralph's Italian Ices — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Went to Ralph’s on Wantagh Ave on 5/25/24 I was upset with condition of place. The floors very dirty, glass was not clean staff preoccupied and too many signs or posters on walls. I ordered three scoops of ice and received only two. On Friday the 24th I went to Ralph’s on Washington Ave ,Seaford. In this place you could eat OFF the floors the place was inviting and organized. I didn’t realize that Wantagh Ave store didn’t take credit cards I did not see signage reflecting no credit cards nor is this important information on the Web Site. Wantagh Ave Ralph’s please do better .No one wants a messy place in their neighborhood.The young ladies behind the counter looked very sloppy , young ladies you too can do better. I have to agree with Sammi Stein. This store should be avoided, ESPECIALLY during the pandemic that is decimating American families all across the country. This evening ALL 3 staff in the store were NOT wearing masks. INCLUDING THE OWNER CINDY! ALL 3 were maskless, talking to each other WHILE CLEANING THE FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT. I spoke with Cindy about why they were not wearing masks and she stated she “WASNT familiar with the post-covid public health food service regulations”. She also stated that she wasn’t concerned about the department of health or public perception because she has “been in the Levittown community for 25 years and the communty loves her”. I came here a few years ago and I loved it! Ralph's have a huge assortment of flavors to choose from and they offer both cream based and water based ices! I prefer the ice based flavours! The workers are very friendly and helpful when you cannot make up your mind on what to get. This place is only open seasonally and shuts down for the winter months. When it comes tobpaying you can either bring cash and if not they have Venmo so its all good no matter what you have!
