Starbucks — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

This was my third attempt to receive a soy Green Tea Latte at this location. My first try was months ago and the barista free-poured the beverage making it more of a Green Tea Cappuccino, being soy milk it gets quite foamy as she should know. But I brushed it off and on my next trip I asked specifically for it to not be free-poured, the young man was new and unsure of how to mark the cup which was fine but after asking the same manager(?) how to denote no free-pour she said she would make it. However, she once again free-poured it. I decided tonight to give it another shot because I had a hankering for my drink. I went on my way hoping that she wouldn't be there and if she was that maybe she'd listen to me this time. Boy was I wrong. Not only did she use a milk pitcher for soy, she free-poured again after checking with me twice at the register, once asking me if I said I wanted it free-poured to which I asked for her to please make sure it wasn't as it bothers me. So I sit here writing a review with my 3/4 full cup wondering why I paid $4.16 for this. I know I don't need soy and I know it's a little pricey but that's why I rarely get it. Please train your employees correctly as I would rather not drive an extra 3 or so miles to another store. Everything else I have ordered has been very good at this location. Thank you...

Lol, over the years I've often been asked to write reviews about my positive experiences (car dealerships, etc.), and I don't mind complying...In this case, on my own without being asked, I just wanted to share a negative experience, which honestly, I've never done before: On Saturday night, 7/5, at about 8PM, I went into Starbucks with my wife and intended to hang for a bit with a couple cups of coffee. Unfortunately, the place at that point, looked totally neglected, with chairs having debris around, and tables that needed to be wiped down, & the counter with sugar & stirrers was filthy and totally uninviting to stay. And on top of that, my "short latte" had it's cover NOT put on tightly & appropriately, and when I attempted to open it, the cover fell off and the coffee poured out a bit and burnt my hand...Just walked out and we drank our coffees in the car. Might return, double check the cover, but certainly and obvee, no reason to stay...

Sunday early evening I come in for a few gift cards and I decide to get a coffee. I placed my order while about two mins later two moms walk in with their daughters and place their order. Another guy walks in and places his order. As I stand there waiting everyone gets their order. I asked them what’s going on with my drink order since it was placed before all of these other people. It was like i was talking to the air. The two guys look at each other after I ask ‘oh am I not speaking to anyone’. One of them asks what my name is, I give it to him and he has my cup in hand telling me he’s making it next.
