I would not know how the food tastes because apparently it is hard to count items as you place them in a bag. I placed my order through seamless and surprise surprise... my order was not included, not to mention no utensils were provided. It's like I did not even select to include them with the order. However I tried to call the restaurant and was thrown from one place to another without ever actually getting the chance to speak with a team member. Definitely go in person if you want to patron this establishment because then, they may get it right. Maybe they have automated systems that serve you... who knows. On top of that, I selected the option to add chicken with a fish taco dish and they completely removed the fish and had the gall to charge $25? Absolute waste of time and money.
UPDATE Thank fully Seamless refunded my order. However, I should have taken my missing order as a sign. I re-ordered my food and boy did it disappoint. Not only was the "hot" food ice cold but I got like 3 slices of sweet potato. I mean I should not complain considering I actually got chicken, unlike my order mates but I cannot fathom how this place stays in business. Once, I ordered a miso salmon bowl. $25 and 45 minutes later, I opened my bowl to find just white rice, that’s it. We ordered again today to give the location another chance, 5 bowls, 1 side, $102. We received our bag with 1 bowl and 1 side, and 0 shame from their employees.
With my boyfriends bachelors degree in business management, I have some easy feedback that would make this restaurant better Retrain your employees - when you hire someone that’s going to fill a bowl with just rice and close the lid, you know there’s something wrong with either the hiring or the training operations here. Read moreI've been a fan of sweetgreen for years, so I was so excited when we finally got one on Long Island.
When I first tell people about it, they think it's just salads, but it's so much more than that. Everything here is always fresh, great portion sizes, fast, and affordable for a full meal filled with everything you could want. There's a ton of variety, and I easily go there 2-5 times a week getting something new each time.
The team is always super friendly and accommodating, and I've never had any issues with service. Occasionally there might be a mistake, which is completely understandable at a fast and busy place like this, but they always fix it quickly and with a smile.
I usually order for pickup through the app, and either take it to go or eat in at the tables and chairs. It's bright, clean, modern, and even show where the ingredients come from on a board up front.
I definitely recommend using the app, since there is a reward system with new challenges to try new things and get $5-7 off your meals.
It's my go to for a fast and full meal any day...
