Been here a million times and never have been treated so terribly as I was last night. First off our sever was rude. Two members of our party were finishing something important on their phones and he yelled at them until they said hello back to him and not just a head nod and wave. The rest of the evening was full with eye rolls and attitude. Even when we payed the check he was not happy with his tip and made sure we knew. When our food arrived everyone’s meat temperatures were wrong. We all ordered medium rare and we all got well done. We sat and waited 10 minutes for our server to come by and check on us or any other serve to walk by our table to ask them to help us fix the fact that we all got over cooked steaks. But in those 10 minutes not a single person walked by our table or ignored us when we said excuse me to them. We had to eat our meals because we were all starving as our server never came back to offer us any more bread or ask if we were doing ok. Our server didn’t return to our table until everyone had finished their meals and he said how are we doing o are we all done? He didn’t even know our food had been at our table long enough for us to finish our meal. He got there a minute after the first server in 45 minutes that passed by our table and didn’t ignore us finally stoped so we could get our first refill on our waters the whole night. Since no servers ever stoped by our table we were rationing our waters so we could actually digest our food. A bust boy who was clearing out a table intimidated someone in our party and didn’t let them feel comfortable the whole night as they kept staring and pointing at our table. When they went to the bathroom this bust boy followed them and tried to block them from entering the men’s restroom. The women’s restroom was also quite disgusting as there were leaks from the ceiling at the entrance of the women’s restroom just creating a puddle on the ground and in one of the stalls. Last time we were ignored at this Texas Roadhouse we thought it was cause the restaurant was so full but we were at least able to stop other waiters that wasn’t ours who were able to help us get our food and help make the experience better. But even though last night it was full there is no reason why a table of customers should be ignored by the restaurant or death stared and pointed at by a bust boy. We didn’t even feel comfortable asking for a supervisor to tell them what occurred that evening because we know our waiter would yell and scream at us and we just wanted to leave at that point and leave an environment that treated us...
Read moreWe will not be going back anymore. We’ve been going there for a long time. But the hostesses and the quality of food just simply are not worth it.
When we went tonight, it was not that busy. We were the 2nd in line waiting to check in with the 4 hostesses at the front desk. The line behind us was building up with at least 10 people. I was waiting for one of the hostesses to look up to take our names. 3 minutes goes by and they were all looking down and talking among themselves. Then an older couple walked in and cut everyone off and went straight to the hostesses to give them their names. I told the couple immediately that the line started back there. They didn’t care. Then when the hostess finally took my name, I told them that the couple before us cut the line. But they didn’t care. They continued to take the names of the two groups of 4 behind us. What infuriated me, was when they started to seat the older couple at a 4-person table and seated the two groups of 4 that were behind me. The hostesses behind the front desk had no clue who checked in first and who they should’ve seated first.
Food wise, the steaks have not been good at all. You order ribeye steaks and one would be 1” thick and the other would be 0.5” thick. Most of the time, the steaks are either overcooked (asked for medium and it comes out well done) or it’s raw. We had asked for two sweet potatoes as sides. When they brought out our dinner, we had to remind them that we were missing two sweet potatoes. 20 minutes later, our waitress told us it will take another 10 minutes for the sweet potatoes to come out. Meanwhile, we saw plates with sweet potatoes being carried out to the tables.
A manager, who looked like she was a teenager, came over to ask how everything was. Then another service manager came over to ask how our dinner was. We had to repeat our stories. She gave us a few coupons for free appetizer and $15 off entree. The worst part was, you smell bleach throughout the whole restaurant. It was pretty nauseating when you are trying to eat or sip your drink and everything smelled like bleach. Not...
Read moreI love Texas Road House I frequent the one in NY Rochelle, live closer in queens now to East Meadow location. I’ve also visited Texas road house in PA And Massachusetts as well….and today was the first time I’ve been seated and not offered or given bread. Those sweet buns with the sweet butter is one of the main reasons my family comes to Tecas Road house we love it ….our waiter comes Freddy talks to us introduced himself and and ask if we are ready to order? I tell him no we just got here, that we have 3 toddlers so we trying to settle in and settle the kids, so he says no problem I’ll be right back….Still did not offer bread or bring bread to us on his own , a few mins later he comes back takes our order leaves….. still no bread! my oldest daughter ordered a half slab of ribs and a baked loaded potato with NO Bacon, I had the prime rib my wife a sirloin and steak bites for the little ones with veggies. …still no bread! I had to ask a bus boy who asked a girl who seems like a supervisor that my table was requesting some bread, she said sure no problem my daughter gets her entre then the bread finally arrives immediately followed by all our entres , my daughters baked potato had bacon after we told our waiter Freddy no bacon…. we told the server he said sorry that they was gonna send her out another potato but after we all stuffed our faces finish our meals…. we did have a nice Catus blossom onion which was good but once we are all done and I’m ready to ask for the bill 35 mins later here comes that potato. We weren’t offered trays to take our food home I had to wait and keep calling and asking for things…this was by far the worst service I ever had at a Texas road house and I probably will not come here again, it was a Monday night the place wasn’t even busy at all…the food was good all taste good and fresh I’m a cook myself at a restaurant so compliments to the cooks chef and back of the house but this negative review is all for the front house staff and lousy service My level of satisfaction was definitely shown on...
