Wonder East Meadow — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I am so glad to have a place like this in the neighborhood! The restaurant is super aesthetic and clean. The staff, Tanya and Juliano greeted us when we got there, and came out to ask how we were enjoying our food. They were all so friendly and really seemed to be excited about their grand opening. I thought it was strictly takeout/pick up but there are a few comfortable booths and high top tables for dine in. We were a group of 4 and we ordered from several different restaurants. The meals ranged from Detroit Pizza and onion rings, a Greek build your own bowl, brisket, roasted parmesan potatoes, and Magnolia Banana Pudding for dessert. Everything was fresh, delicious, and generous portions. I was also given a coupon code from Yolfri who was very friendly and helpful when I had questions about the app. I'll definitely be ordering from this...

I can't say enough good things about this new gem of a restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding, warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. The staff clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction.

Management has done an incredible job building a team that truly cares about the guest experience. Everything ran smoothly.

The atmosphere was perfect. You instantly feel comfortable the moment you sit down.

The food was delicious. You can tell the ingredients are fresh.

I ordered online and picked it up on time. When I got home, I noticed it was on a gluten free bun which I didn't ask for, but was charged for anyway.

In addition, there's no way to take off the raw onions which I don't like. Pickles and bbq sauce are able to be taken off, so why not the onions?

I used the automated chat which gave me a $5 credit. A CSR then came on and said that since this was a Friends and Family event, no other credits can be given.

This is NOT the way to start a new location with wrong food and a bad attitude.
