Picnic Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Horseheads

I want to respond to say someone in the know admitted to me that this was being done : serving crusts made that morning (about a year ago).For a long time I noticed they began to give freshly made crusts again. I like your business and I just want you to know this is happening. Yes the pizzas may be freshly made in the sense that you put them together and cook them right when they are ordered. But when you get a pizza with a leathery crust that you can barely chew there is a problem. Like I said, when the crusts are fresh your pizzas are wonderful. But you should be honest about things and not imply that I am lying. You are right that the prices are reasonable when compared to other pizza shops and I appreciate that! But still when you pay twenty some dollars for a pizza that is very disappointing it feels like you overpayed. I don’t want to hurt your business and I will delete this...

We ordered a party pack from this establishment on Saturday evening. When we recieved the order the sheet pizza was considerably smaller than the box. I called back to speak with someone and was told that we were to call on Tuesday to speak with a manager. Due to my job I called on Thursday and spoke with Connie. After about 5 minutes of arguing with me that the size of their pans are what they are and insisted that I come look for myself I politely asked if she could satisfy our pizza with another. She blatantly said absolutely not and continued to tell me that I could do whatever I felt necessary to bash her business. As a business owner myself.. bad judgement call Connie. We will never order from here again since you are unwilling to simply satisfy my order. First time customer only three people in front of me before I ordered a Cheeseburger and fries to go. I was not asked how to cook the burger, what kind of cheese or what toppings I wanted wanted on it, if any. Unfortunately, 40 minutes later I finally got my food. The bun was completely dry. The burger was not cooked well and there was no cheese. Fries were the best part about my dinner. I've worked in the food business many times. I get it. I seen you have a system and I was patient, But the burger could have been dropped right after I ordered it. I could have been asked how I wanted it made none of that happened. I watched many people place their order and get their food way before I got mine. Unfortunately, first impressions last a lifetime though the price was right.
