The Pantry On Main — Restaurant in Town of Hunter

We hired Pantry on Main to cater our fall wedding in Haines Falls. Terrence and Amy were delightful to work with. They were collaborative with our vision for the food and were responsive to our endless emails as we planned the event from Chicago. They also accommodated more than a dozen dietary restrictions with flying colors. From the GORGEOUS charcuterie table, to the beautiful custom batch cocktail and the delicious multiple course family style dinner, we were over the moon with the delicious food that made our day even more memorable. We have continued to get comments from our guests on how good the food was, and it doesn't hurt that Terrence and Amy are such easy people to work with. Also a massive shout out to the incredible staff they hired to work the event, everyone was kind and thoughtful and provided exceptional service to us and every one of our guests. I checked out this spot on a weekend, mid-morning, and walked right in—no wait, which was great. It’s a friendly eatery with a large dining floor that offers a view of both the Main Street outside and the kitchen inside, which is kind of cool. The decor is all local, with photos of spots like Kaaterskill Falls covering the walls. We stopped at The Pantry On Main based on the glowing Google reviews, and wow—people weren’t lying! This place is an absolute gem. The food was incredible—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The unique setup adds to the charm: you check out the menu on a table when you walk in, order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table quickly and piping hot.

The coffee and espresso drinks were perfectly crafted, a real treat for coffee lovers. But the biggest surprise? The restrooms! They’re so beautifully decorated they might just outshine the ones at home! The entire place is gorgeous—every detail is thoughtful and inviting, just like the food and service.
