I'm giving this place 2 stars because i know they can do better but maybe just don't realize the need for attention to detail.
Place looks a bit crammed and grim. Its almost like they are forced to be there. There were people dinning in but they too look puzzled. Great location but not decorated well. Needs a special touch, this is clearly the staff or management marginalizing the importance of interior decoration and flow
Staff seemed OK on average. Maybe the guy that served me was New while the others were more seasoned deli people i can tell. I don't know but they were acting sketchy and I don't think they needed to. Just needed to be warmer and more offering.
food, not great. I ordered a pastrami, egg and cheese on a bagel. Pastrami looked like it was found in a random Tupperware with only last 2 slices left. They took it out slowly in front of me and looked as of they were concerned it was spoiled, they said nothing. Mysterious meat went to the back. A few minutes later, I had a sandwich packaged. I overpaid proudly and then left. I opened the sandwich, and the first thing I noticed was how mushy it was it all was. Almost as if I left it in the bag for hours. Not the case, maybe 2 minutes at most. Bagel wasn't toasted which was probably the biggest offender. In fairness I didn't ask either for it to be toasted, but common. You are the sales assistant ask me what else i could want to make that sandwich better, extra jalapeño, toasting, anything. Ask me if I want coffee. Nothing. Just cold. Then I took one bite....... OMG, gross. I nearly gagged. The pastrami was barely cooked in a soggy bagel. How do they think this is normal. and it wasn't too busy or overwhelming. Not sure why something as simple as a sandwich they couldn't do right. I threw away the rest which cost me about 12 bucks. Bit of a waste I'd say.
I believe there is alot of room for improvement. I think the staff has potential but management needs to bring in experts to teach right from wrong in the...
Read moreme and my family loved this place since it opened, however, idk if they hired new people or something but my last four orders were all wrong like, completely wrong with things missing and everything - i ordered one bagel with butter and they gave me poppy instead of sesame and the other day i ordered something with a muffin and our order literally took 2 hours for delivery because they didn't have my muffin and waited two hours to call me about it like??? , if this was some kind of massive thing i ordered or whatever i wouldn't write this but it was literally a bagel lol, the staff and owner are super generous when they make a mistake but i would rather there just not be so many i mean, we live right down the road and have probably had our order screwed a little less than ten times they probably know exactly who i am writing this that's how many times they've screwed up our order, the food here is SO good but there's no way i'm spending any money here again if i literally can't get a bagel - not to mention the owners are anti-mask and we have seen them many times without them on while working, wasn't gonna say anything but at this point i'm straight up wasting and losing money...

Donnie, this isn't about receiving a complimentary breakfast. But thank you for the offer.
If I knew the answer to running a high volume food establishment and maintaining quality during peak times I'd be a consultant to the industry. I would say, think about speaking to a consultant, and hire the manpower you need even if you have to pay well above the norm during "peak". Good Luck _
