If you overlook the state and cleanliness of this place then you’ve won half the battle. It’s a shame that was our first and lasting impression. The inside definitely needs some love and attention. However I think all their focus is diverted to the food and not the surroundings.

We ordered the Liver with bread and the Lamb Soup. My partner enjoyed the Liver and I absolutely loved the Lamb Soup! I drank every last bit and could have ordered another bucket load of it. Their black tea….is packed full of flavour and again I could have drank pints of it. They didn’t charge us for the tea which was a nice gesture.

Don’t let the interior put you off. Close those eyes and order away. I’m sure you will be very pleased with what’s on offer.

Service was quick and the staff were polite and friendly. Adequate seating is provided if you decide to eat in.

Owner is rude, obnoxious, and looks down upon customers if they don’t order to his liking. In the past I have ordered big meals and brought a large group of my friends to dine here too. However, today since I was sick I went to get some lamb soup. Owner outright refused to serve me my order since my order was less important than those who would order a large meal and need soup with it. Absolutely ridiculous. The lamb soup is on the menu for $3. I asked for 3 servings. Dude started shaking his head like he was pissed or something. If something is on the menu it should be served to customers regardless of quantity. Never coming back here again. Also this...

We were in the area and searched for a halal spot, and Halal Yemen Restaurant came up. As a family who loves Yemeni food, we had to give it a try, and we’re so glad we did!

I’ll be honest, the food was full of rich, authentic flavors, especially the Fasha meat, which was tender and perfectly spiced. We wanted to try more, but the lamb was sold out, a sign of how good it must be! We'll definitely be back next time to try the rest of the menu.
