I had a conversation with Ai about Mickey I asked it to give Burger King a bit of a thank you.. unfortunately it fell a bit short.. Iâm sure I talked about it on a app like Quora or medium , not important but here is my versionâŚ.. this is the end of our talk..
âSo not too bad for a quick conversation in 5 minutes in the parking lot while I ate⌠but Iâd had enough and it was getting late with 2 percent battery on this phoneâŚ
-This is the last version with a bit of human touch!!-
Mickey and I had a traditionââŹâevery night, without fail, weâd roll up to the Burger King in Rochester, NH being the hugest fans of the legendary Hershey Pie. Mickey, my four-legged partner-in-crime, was always the real star, working the drive-thru staff with his big eyes and shameless pie-begging skills. They may not have known us the longest, but they sure treated us like they expected to see us as the night before. Even on our last visit together for they did not know what was to transpire that next early morning, their kindness and warmth stood as always, as it should. They did not just hand over food they served up genuine smiles and never once judged me for enabling a dog with a probable Hershey pie addiction . Mickey and I always ordered two Hershey pies, no questions asked. And thatâs a tradition I refuse to break . No matter what, ill always get two one for me, one for him âand for a second, Iâll still glance to my right and tease him like I do, as if hes there, plotting a pie heist from beyond the grave. Thank you for not judging for âMickey is a legend in his own right just like the pies protecting the good we all have inside us but that most will never know until you take that first bite!! âThese two pies are mine now, but I cant wait for the day when life really starts!â â- We we all be dead too!-đâ And when you roll up to Burger King in the After-Beginning of Life after me, of course asking for a couple pies! Mickey will be at the window, smiling with an apology âTwo Hershey Pies? OVER MY DEAD BODY!đâ Not sure if you agree? (Hey a side point you would not believe what we did a couple nights later) he didnât have too much to say but we had a fun night as always and yes I teased him, he had a frozen ( literally!) smile on his face and I know what he...
Read moreOMG - this is by far the worst customer service experience I have had. I was told by Supervisor Randy that if I did not like the speed of their service I should go somewhere else (I waited almost 15 minutes for an online order). When I asked for a refund - I was refused. The girl put her hand in my face as she turned around to talk away from me - curtsied as she handed my food with a big smile on her face - and then walked away without apologizing.
I made a complaint to Corporate and just had a call from the District Manager. He wanted me to tell him that I was wrong for getting upset, that I was wrong for raising my voice at her, and that his staff do not deserve to be yelled at. However, he never acknowledged this his staff was completely out of line in the way she spoke to me, her escalating the situation by her inaction and refusal to be polite or professional, and wanted to make sure I knew she was 100% right in everything she said. Basically - her behavior was ok in the eyes of Burger King management.
All in all - they accept rude and unprofessional behavior. I get that everyone is short staffed, but when you tolerate this behavior from management it sets a tone for all your staff. Clearly Burger King should go back to management basics. They need to hold their staff accountable for rude and unprofessional behavior and not tell a customer they are wrong for getting upset when their staff is rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, and deplorable in their treatment of customers.
I will NEVER be back to this location. I suggest you go to any of other dozen or more fast food businesses up and down Ridge Rd. I have never had an experience like this, I have never been treated this way by a manager at a business, and certainly have never had a business owner call me to defend this kind of behavior from his team....
Read moreThis location on East Ridge Rd shouldn't qualify as fast food. The drive thru service is so slow and inefficient, it feels intentional. You frequently end up waiting 10+ minutes for the smallest order like a drink and a fry, after you might've waited 10+ min at the speaker to put your order in. đ˛
And may God be with you and bless you with extreme patience and self-control if you have the misfortune of coming here past midnightđ.
The midnight crew behave like lazy aloof zombies. Purposefully inattentive. Deliberately sluggish, and impolite. There's a young lady that works there at night, that you would think she is being forced to work here by way she behaves so proudly disdainful at the window. Like she's trying to subtly provoke you to anger while maintaining plausible deniabilityđ. It's so weird and...
