Mi Campo Deli — Restaurant in Town of Islip

If you want exactly what you order, don’t come here especially for sandwiches. Multiple times they made my sandwich wrong. I asked for no bacon for my sandwich, the stuff mess up my guts bad, sometimes I can’t tell the difference when eating until when it’s too late. I asked for turkey bacon, they give me a mixture of bacon and turkey. First I thought they were being very incompetent but now, they gotta be very disrespectful and unprofessional to blatantly disregard a customer request. Especially when their stuff ain’t cheap, like I expected to get what I pay for. Like they giving out cream cheese with bacon or BLTs when you ask for an egg sandwich with turkey bacon. Great fresh hot food. The food is Dominican home style, laid out in big trays. Lots of variety of food to choose from- Rice and beans, spaghetti, chicken baked and stewed, pork chops and ribs, beef stew, fried seafood and shrimp. They have nice creamy deli salads as well - egg, potato and macaroni. The staff is helpful and friendly. The place is nice and clean inside. And brightly lit. It also has few places to sit and eat at the counter. Plenty of parking outside.
