Golden Star — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Terrible customer service! Rude and entitled. I just called to place an order for delivery. After she told me the total, I asked about the breakdown because I was considering picking up instead and the lady hung up on me, no questions was asked. It was my first experience and not try that place again if I was starving and it was the only Chinese restaurant open. It is as if she felt it was below her to give more information to the customer about the prices and potential more affordable options. The message she was sending out to me was, “if you have to ask about price, then don’t bother calling our establishment and don’t waste our time because you’re clearly too poor and worthless for us to give you consideration and time of day”. Of course she did not utter these words but her actions said more and it was utterly disrespectful. The idea that a person working for an establishment can treat a potential customer this way makes you wonder if they deserve to be in business in the first place. I got my food delivered I have ordered food from then before but everytime they say they had this and when you order it and get it. It’s not it at all. And They says it’s my fault but they told me they had something that they didn’t have. When I went to the store itself to order they still says they had it and gave me the wrong thing. Order pick up for hot and sour soups. I got sugar soups. Called them up to let them know the soup was sugary, they say “ I can replaced it but you have give me the other soup back”.
