We had some guest in town and wanted to find some place different to eat that had a outdoor dining option. Thanks to Google maps, I was able to locate Tequila Sunrise. Our visit here was for lunch on this trip. Arrived just after they opened up. We were seated outside in a nice corner booth. Outdoor has a large Tiki bar, and plenty of outdoor seating. Nice wooden booths to sit at. Waitress came over and fresh chips and salsa were brought out. Asked about the margaritas and they are all homemade and no mixes used. 2 original margaritas were ordered on the rocks with salted rim. They came out and were well made, not a mix, did not taste sour or sugary at all. Can taste the Tequila in the drink. Ordered some fish tacos and Pollo(chicken) tacos, must order 2. Steak buritto was ordered which comes with a side of rice and beans. Food came out in less then 15 minutes and was hot, buritto was grilled and had plenty of beef inside of it. Tacos were loaded with fish and chicken. No dessert ordered on this trip. Inside has a nice dining room and bar area. Would recommend this place if you want authentic Mexican food, no corners cut here with the drinks or the food quality...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe placed a take out order and it completely did not look like any of the pictures that others have posted. The order was not correct, they left off items that they charged for and when I asked about the extra charges they said they didnāt charge. The food was bland and their sauces over done. The food should have layers of flavor and spice. This was just a taste each ingredient independently while on a fork. None of the meat was flavored. The steak tacos were gross and the meat extremely fatty. The chicken dishes had a large piece of chicken and was not shredded or even chunked. The worse part was that itās expensive food for the small portion sizes and lack of quality. When I called them and explained that we were unhappy with all of the 12 items we ordered, including their 3 milk cake, they had nothing to say about it. I was going to give them another chance to see if dining there better, but after talking to people in town apparently it doesnāt make a difference because they had the same idea I had. We are extremely disappointed and please save your money and hit the frozen food section of the grocery store to get more affordable and better...

We were highly disappointed with the food, service, prices and portions and will not be returning. To start, every other Mexican restaurant we've ever been to has complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered chips and salsa for 4.50 and no kidding, the bowl of stale chips was smaller than a cereal bowl with three tiny dipping sauces. We did complain and they brought out a slightly larger bowl. We ordered 8 tacos to share and when two came out with sour cream when ordered without it, the waitress asked my daughter to place them back on the tray so she could show the cook what was wrong. Our meals were very bland, as were the tacos, and when we asked for another side of toppings for the fajitas the waitress let out an audible sigh when she walked away. We also had to ask for extra napkins a second time as the first waitress only brought out 3 when we originally asked for more when eating...
