Unattractive place, old interior, dirty bathroom (that's minus one star). Ate their twice for lunch. First day I had the fish and chips, and yes the fish came out hot and crispy, but WAY over salted, that's not how you make fish taste good by adding lots of salt. Second day I had a hot dog with chili on top with a side of macaroni salad (paid $3 for the side). I asked for some diced onion on top of the chili dog and bring mustard, so I could have a Coney dog. Instead the onions were under the chili and she forgot to bring the mustard (she went back for it). Chili was mostly big chunks of ground beef in a chili sauce. And the hot dog was supposed to come with chips which it did not (I didn't bother to remind them). Wait staff was friendly and proficient, and while the decor wasn't polished, it was a fun little local diner with lots of character and history. Lots of menu options for all ages and wonderful french fries. I loved the fish and chips which were crispy cod strips that camw out nice and hot with a crunchy outside and a moist, tender fish inside. Love love love!
