Amazing Delight! "Cue Bloated emoji's!!!"

This girl knows her bakery's. When I walked into "Uncle Mike's" couldn't believe my eyes, SAMPLES....NO! OK YAY, From their award winning Kringle, I now know why, OMG!, to their amazing breads healthy to indulgent, the Jalapeño bread, to die for, they do not disappoint!! Cookies, Cheesecake candies, Door County coffees.....I drove to De Pere, WI. Well worth it however.... *ATTENTIONUncle Mike's Bake Shop will be venturing to Appleton's, Saturday mornings Farmer's Market!!!! From what I was told, all summer!! so lucky, ME, I mean Fox Valley. To find them, no worry You will smell them!!! Selfishly, I only gave four stars b/c I didn't sample enough...

However.

We called in advance because I have a corn and soy food allergy. I explained my allergy to 2 people asking if they had kringles available without corn and/or soy, and that we would be driving an hour out of our way for a special stop.

We were told they had kringles available that were corn and soy free.

We emphasized it was a food allergy and were again told they had kringles available without those ingredients.

When we arrived we were told that in fact there was corn and/or soy in their ingredients. They actually do not make any sweet kringles without corn and/or soy.

This would have been my first sweet treat in over a year.

I was so disappointed today. I called to inquire about having a kringle shipped to my dad for Xmas. The lady that answered was rude and said I am to busy, but I can call you back. We can't ship till January 4th. She did call me back, but I was busy and she was rude. I don't care how busy I am, I don't treat people that way. Here's the deal. My mom was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer, they can't do her surgery til December 23rd, so she's not with my dad for Xmas, I just wanted my dad to have a little something special since my mom is stuck here. I hope you never have to go through what I am right now. And please be nicer to the next person that calls. You made me so...
