Arrived at the drive thru with my 7yr old daughter at 5:01pm. Ordered our food at 5:08 pm. Sat in line without moving until 5:21pm next to the intercom where we placed the order. My daughter had to use the restroom at that point, which left me with no other option but to leave the drive thru and take her inside. While she was in the restroom, I went to the counter and explained that we had been waiting in the drive thru for 20min and had to come inside so she could use the restroom. The lady’s response was “ok well you can’t just come in here and cut in line and expect us to serve you. You’re gonna have to be patient and go back in line”. Her tone was not pleasant. Although I was extremely annoyed at this point I let it go and explained that I just wanted to re-order my daughter’s food, pay for it, and continue to wait for it to be ready. She walked away towards the kitchen areas yelling how “ridiculous” people are. The place was chaotic with the most unorganized, unprofessional employees I have ever encountered. The only reason I timed it was because it doesn’t seem to matter what time of day we go to the Canastota location-you will not get through the drive-thru under 15min. This time longer. Read moreThe young lady taking my order was new and doing her best to take my order. She was moved off my register because she needed help taking orders and was trying not to appear flustered. While placing my order with her replacement, the manager, a slim woman with dyed red hair who appeared very stressed, came over and chewed out the new girl with a tone that was quite harsh. The manager told her to press a different button when customers order a large meal. I am in the people business and know an employee should NEVER be reprimanded in front of peers or customers. This made me and my children quite uncomfortable. The young girl seemed to handle this well, said ok and did her best in her role. While waiting for about 10 minutes in the lobby for my two orders, this same manager was angrily demanding food items from many of her employees. Her voice was clearly heard by all the customers in the lobby, about 10 people in total. Once, this lady couldn't reach a chicken sandwich and so yelled at an employee to push it to her. Read moreStopped in for a “quick” bit while traveling and 25 mins later we left with our food. We were the lucky ones as folks in the drive thru waited about 45 mins got frustrated and were coming in the restaurant to get their food. Not to mention the place was disgustingly dirty. There was an awful smell and the area for the drinks had a clogged drain that looked like it had been sitting here rotting for a week. The floors looked like they hadn’t seen a mop in just as long and there was spilled something all over the trash area. The bathroom was gross. My 4 year old had to go so I picked the one where flies were not chillin on the seat and I had to wipe off the irony soaked toilet paper stuck to the rim. I also don’t know how “all employees must wash hands” is working out as there was NO soap in the restroom. Thankfully there was hand sanitizer in the lobby.
