If you're not eating at Uncle J's, you're seriously missing out. The food? Phenomenal. That omelet was loaded and cooked perfectly, and the home fries with just the right amount of crispy edges? YES PLEASE. Pancakes? Fluffy little clouds sent from breakfast heaven. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, like eating at your favorite relative’s house (you know, the one that actually likes you). And the staff? Top. Freakin’. Notch. Friendly, fast, and full of smiles. Highly recommend—just make sure you come hungry! Uncle J made me do it!

Very cute business with a historical flavor. Attentive waitstaff and tasty food. I had the chicken parm made with a good sized piece of chicken and penne pasta. Really tasty. I especially loved the sauce. The accompanying salad was very large and well-made. I was disappointed at the limited choices because they had just opened, but what I got was very good.

had a really wonderful experience at uncle Jay’s Lowbridge station. was planning on stopping at Graziano’s. Didn’t realize it was closed and torn down four years ago. Well, worth a stop off the Thruway, definitely better prices on gas at the reservation nearby. my mother wouldn’t stop talking about how wonderful her Ruben was. Wonderfully lean corn beef.

We stopped in Sunday morning opening weekend, which explains the 4 stars. The main dining room is very bright, each corner is themed differently but all related to Canastota. The service was a little slow, but they were very pleasant and I am sure once they get the kinks out and all their product comes in like tea, salt & pepper shakers the speed will pick up. The food was plentiful and flavorful and the breakfast menu had a nice selection. Overall impression...Uncle J's Low Bridge is a great place to stop in for a good meal with good conversation. Much luck to you all and Uncle J...

The owner is very understanding. But the food was the worst I ever tried. Whoever the cook is shouldn’t be cooking. The waitress is a total sweetheart. She’s probably the best thing about the establishment. We came here due to the reviews we read but unfortunately we definitely did not have the same experience as others. The owner did address the issue right away. I think there could be so much potential with someone who can actually cook. But unfortunately we will never come back to find that out. If you can mess mozzarella sticks up then you probably...
