Great Wall — Restaurant in Town of Liberty

We just moved upstate from Long Island and were skeptical about finding a good Chinese take out place. That being said, I asked a local and this place was recommended. I found Their menu online and called to order. The man who picked up was super friendly! When I went To pick up, he was still friendly and welcoming and had a little conversation with me (through the covid plastic) while packing my order. He welcomed me to the area and said he’ll see me soon! 😬 we got home and the food was all delicious!! To my surprise, my very picky 12 year old gave this food a rating of 11 out of 10! Not only was the food delicious, but the portions are huge. We will have leftovers for the weekend!

China Great Wall Does What It Says on the Tin.

Popped in with mates last night and was chuffed with the food. Sweet and sour chicken was properly crispy, not greasy like most places. The prawn stir-fry was fresh and the General Tso’s chicken was covered in sesame seeds with this brilliant sticky sauce. Portions are massive - couldn’t finish mine. Staff are no-nonsense, just get your food out quick and top up your drinks. Place looks a bit dated but honestly who cares when the food’s this good. Been to quite a few Chinese places round Liberty and this one actually knows what they’re doing. Not fancy but reliable, which is exactly what you want sometimes. Already planning to bring the missus next...

I got my food delivered in a reasonable time, the delivery guy was friendly and polite so I gave him a $5 tip. I’m disappointed to say the least that the quality of the food was poor. I had ordered wanton soup and sesame chicken combo for my girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. Upon further evaluation of the bag I found that there were NO fortune cookies to be found! Fortune cookies are my favorite part of ordering Chinese food. Furthermore, my girlfriend was in complete discuss and disbelief when she tried the wanton soup. I would never order from this Chinese restaurant again. Also, I would recommend that you do the same. This restaurant almost ruined...
