This is such a little hidden gem in Chaumont. Service is excellent and food is great. We usually go to Jacks Diner when we are in town since it’s closer to our place but it was shut down so we decided to give Lakers a try. Our neighbors told us it’s rebranded and under ownership, and it’s a nice spot to grab some brunch. Honestly, their egg Benedict with tomato/spinach is the best benny I’ve had in the recent few years. I live in the city and I always order egg Benedict but nothing I had recently that can beat this. The sauce is so creamy and the fresh tomatoes and spinach just blend right in! My husband order the Mother’s Day special prime ribs with eggs. He enjoyed it. We would definitely come back when we are in town and highly recommend this place to anyone loves brunch!

Food is delicious! Best pancakes I’ve ever had. Have some magic ingredient in them! Eggs cooked perfect. Homemade hash yum and Valley bakery homemade bread double yum. Tea is hot. Love the big mugs with different sayings on them. Service is friendly and fast. Food is presented nicely on the plate. Can’t say a negative thing.

We came here for the first time this morning. We both ordered the brisket with eggs, home fries and homemade cheddar parmesan toast. It was so delicious. I only got a picture of the coffee because as soon as we got the brisket, we dug in immediately. Our waitress was so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend.

Girls working behind the counter are rude. Ordered a large sundae, they made a small I asked if the size was correct, the girl working the register told the other girl to remake it. The girl that had to remake it had the biggest attitude, asked for them to be made to-go and without even looking they said they didn’t have tops for the cups. This isn’t my first time coming here, in fact have been coming since I was a kid when it was owned by previous owners and typically it’s a good experience, but the last two times of coming and having to deal with these specific rude workers, is disappointing to...

We went here for lunch while working in the area. They were the only ones we could sit down and eat due to other places being closed. Got the turkey club and was very disappointed. Barley and turkey or cheese in that thing. My co worker got a burger and it definitely messed his stomach up a bit. I got to smell it the...
