I really wish you could give zero stars. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I was there with a local group for a trivia night. In the years they have been open I have never had a good experience, but this was by far the worst. When we got there, the only table open was dirty and we were told it would be cleared off. After about 20 minutes, one person in our party went inside to ask for it to be cleaned off. Eventually someone came out to grab the dirty plates and cups and left is wet wipes for us to clean our own table. After we attempted to flag down a waitress 3 times and about another 20 minutes later, we finally got food menus but no drink menus. We had to ask for the drink menu and eventually got one. Our waitress stopped by the table next to us probably 3-4 times while we waited to order. By the next time the waitress came around we all had our orders ready, we ordered and she came back missing one of our drinks and without enough utensils. The kitchen was actually pretty fast and we got our food fairly quickly. I ordered the chicken wing dip and Mo's platter. The chips were stale and the dip was straight up bad, spicy, weirdly chunky and salty. The platter was mediocre at best. We finished our food and eventually the waitress came to pick up our plates. The waitress did ask about the meal I had barely touched and they did refund the chicken wing dip after hearing the chips were stale. She asked if anyone wanted drinks. One person wanted another beer but she never came back with it, we never got the refills of water we wanted either. One person in our party went into the bar for water at one point we were so thirsty. We waited 20 minutes after she took our drink order and never returned to go into the bar to pay the bill so we could leave. The bartender told us we had to wait for our waitress, April, to cash us out, they asked around for her but never left behind the bar to go find her. The waitress did eventually show up, was sassy and rude about us going to the bar to pay, and cashed us out. We will never return. We did stop at McDonald's after because we were still hungry and very thirsty, much...
Read moreI've been to this restaurant a few times. So far I was satisfied with their food and service, but not yesterday. When I went in at 7:50 pm, I was standing there waiting to be seated for more than five minutes. There was no host at the host desk, and after 5 minutes the bartender at the bar yelled to the back "Door!" when someone finally came and gave me a table. After I sat down, another 5 minutes passed by until my waitress showed up, and I was able to order what I wanted to drink. Then a few minutes later she came back, and informed me that the "kitchen switched to late night mode" (it is not later than 8:05 pm at this point), and many of the menu items are not available at this point. I was thinking to order a burger, but that was on the "currently not available list" because of the "late night mode", so I ordered something different. After I finished my main course, I ordered dessert, but the dessert item that I wanted was not available (it is not available for a few weeks now -- I was told that the supplier doesn't make that item any more, so why not take it off the menu then?), so I ordered a slice of New York cheesecake. When the waitress brought out the cheesecake it was completely frozen. When my waitress saw me that I'm not eating the cheesecake, she asked me if I'm going to finish it, or hang around? I told her that it is frozen, so I'm not able to cut and eat it at the moment. She asked me if I want her to warm it up? (warm up a cheesecake? - pretty interesting idea) I asked for a box, paid my bill and left. So far I was pretty satisfied with their service and food previously, but this night I left very dissatisfied. I understand that many places are understaffed now, but making a lot of the food items unavailable at 8:05 pm claiming to be in late night mode (after I have been there for 15 minutes already), and serving frozen cheesecake as dessert, and leaving a constantly unavailable item on the dessert menu? In my opinion this is...
Read moreMy significant other and I decided to go to Mo's for my birthday because it appeared to be a nice establishment with high priced food that in our terms would be considered a "fancy restaurant". However we were fooled by this illusion. We waited a few minutes to be seated only to seem invisible to the lacking staff that was there. We waited about 25 minutes til finally we saw the hostess walking by and asked if anyone was going to wait on us. After that issue was resolved and the blame passed onto new staff we were finally able to order. We still waited longer than we should have on just our drinks. We ordered an appetizer which was decent, however my $26 steak that I asked to be cooked at medium rare was more so at a medium well, the quality of the meat was disappointing, ive gotten better NY strips from Walmart for half the price , it was surrounded by hard fat and I was only equipped with a knife sharp enough to slice some butter. It was also missing the bacon jam it was supposed to come with. As a side I got some loaded waffle fries, except the cheese was not even melted in the fires, more like just sprinkled on top. I asked for a refill and the waitress completely forgot and I did not get it until I also received a check. Now, I know maybe the person was new or possibly having a rough night, but the overall hospitality and attitude from the staff was very disappointing and sad, as the...
