Stefano's Mexico — Restaurant in Town of Mexico

Only great thing about this place is that they're open late. I called one time to order delivery, describing directions for where I lived. The employee started to make fun of the fact that I lived in a trailer park in the background so I cancelled my order. On a different occasion I had a friend over who attempted to order from them. He asked for a "buffalo chicken" pizza and they responded that they didn't have one, offering no suggestions or alternatives, almost as if he was asinine for requesting such a thing. So instead he stated he'd like a pizza with hot sauce instead of pizza sauce, chicken (grilled or fried worked) and cheese. They responded, in a demeaning voice "you mean a hot chicken wing pizza?" then they proceeded to laugh at him as if he were dull. All of this was heard on speaker, during the NBA finals, in front of all guests at my home. Needless to say everyone that witnessed said conversation will no longer be doing business with them. Food wise, the "hot chicken wing" pizza was under par, cheese, chicken, and a light circular ring of hot sauce on top of the pizza, almost as if a chicken wing pizza was of...

We were very disappointed this evening. We had a party and ordered a sheet pizza and wings which we’ve done MANY times in the past. When we got home from picking up the pizza we noticed right away the dough was extremely undercooked. We’ve not had this issue before. Since we have had excellent customer service with them before we knew we could ask them to remake the pizza so that we could exchange and get a new pizza back to our guests quickly. The owner said we could not do that but we would need to bring the pizza back and wait for it to finish cooking. This is not ideal when you have a party going on and we paid ALOT for the pizza. I explained the situation but when the manager came back we were told they could not do anything other than have us wait more for it to finish cooking. We were also told that next time we have to ask for extra crispy. We didn’t want extra crispy pizza. We just wanted dough that is cooked. So disappointing since we order from the Mexico restaurant 1-2 times per week. To save time I ended up putting it in our oven to finish cooking so that it was...

I took my son to Stefanos in Mexico NY tonight because it’s close by, and it’s Italian and I love it there. I wasn’t let down, and I never have been. This restaurant consistently just lays it down when it comes to fair prices, excellent food, and a nice atmosphere. Any dish you order will be a generous portion, and will be hot and delicious. The pizza is sooooooo good. The crust is killer, never over cooked, and perfect each time. The sauce is fantastic and compliments the crust with an amazing gum line, and the toppings are always fresh. The Buffalo chicken wings were to die for, cooked just right, with a nice sauce with a bite to it, hot, but not overbearing. There was also a pleasant slight sweetness to the sauce, and you just have to try it. The restaurant itself is always clean, and the staff are courteous.
