Harriman Square Deli — Restaurant in Town of Monroe

I recently visited this place and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I ordered six sandwiches with the exact name and was asked by the person at the counter if I wanted potato in my sandwich. Assuming it was already included, I said yes.

However, when it was time to pay, I was asked to pay almost 20% more than the expected sandwich price. I was informed that the addition of potato to my sandwich was an extra charge, which I was not informed of when I placed my order. Despite my explanation, the person at the counter did not show any concern and made me pay the extra charge.

This kind of behavior is not acceptable in the food service industry, and customers should be informed of any additional charges before they make their order. I was disappointed with the lack of customer service and felt taken advantage of.

I highly recommend that anyone visiting this place checks the prices of their menu items carefully and ensures that they are informed of any additional charges before they place their orders. This will help to avoid any misunderstandings or dissatisfaction among customers.

Overall, my experience at Harriman Square Deli was not satisfactory, and I hope that they take steps to prevent similar incidents from happening...

Service is not good. I used to go all time there but now i stop go their for bad employees. They did so bad behaviour with me last Friday. I took Lamb leg, they said they didn’t have rice and they offered me salad I said no salad, i said just give me some lamb gravy only with lamb leg, 3-4 time they didn’t' give to me and they were angry, I was specific, lamb and gravy, that’s it. When I was paying I asked again for the last time that they give me some lamb gravy because I saw that they were putting the gravy in a plastic dish but they told me they no longer had any and I said I just want a little more. then he went over and grabbed some of what was left over from the pot and spread it all over the bag where they had packed my food. The employee who was charging me told me that they didn't have any more gravy because they had already thrown it in the trash, but I was looking at the gravy in the plastic container...

Usually a good place to eat, but had horrible service today. The guy behind the counter ignored us for at least five minutes. When he finally took our order, he made "fresh" mashed potatoes. They turned out to be the worst instant potatoes I've ever had, with no flavor at all. The brisket was dry. I asked him for gravy on just the potatoes for my husband and all over for me. I got only on the potatoes and my husband got no gravy. When he went back in to ask him for a little gravy on the potatoes the guy gave him a huge attitude and started arguing with him.
