Title: Disappointing Customer Service Experience
I recently visited Cake Lady Desserts and cafe with high expectations, hoping to indulge in some delicious treats. However, I must say that my experience left much to be desired due to the unprofessional and unpleasant attitude displayed by one of the shop's employees or possibly the owner.
From the moment I entered, I was met with an unfriendly demeanor and an apparent lack of interest in providing quality customer service. The employee/owner's attitude was dismissive and made me feel unwelcome.
Despite my attempts to ask questions and seek recommendations, I was met with curt responses and an overall sense of annoyance. It was disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and basic courtesy in a customer-oriented establishment.
As a customer, I believe it is important to feel valued and respected when visiting any establishment. Unfortunately, my encounter at Cake Lady Desserts and cafe fell significantly short of this expectation, tarnishing what could have been an enjoyable experience.
I sincerely hope that the management of Cake Lady Desserts and cafe takes this feedback seriously and addresses the need for better customer service. It is crucial to remember that customers are the backbone of any business, and their satisfaction should be a top priority.
I regret having to share such a negative review, but I believe it is important to be honest about my experience. I hope that my feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement and that future customers have a more positive encounter at Cake Lady Desserts and cafe.

Read moreWe’ve been visiting The Cake Lady for a few years now, often stopping in for small treats—and the cupcakes never disappoint! They’re always fresh, delicious, and offered in such unique flavors.
For my recent bridal shower, my mom suggested we order the cake from The Cake Lady, and I’m so glad we did. I brought in an inspiration photo, and Sharyn immediately understood the vision with just a few notes. She was upfront and clear about the number of layers needed, the design details, and the cost. She also provided great suggestions for flavor combinations.
We chose a two-layer cake with one layer filled with strawberry custard and the other with a cannoli filling. Since the inspiration photo included flowers, Sharyn offered to decorate the cake with fresh flowers if we dropped them off the night before—which we did.
When my fiancé picked up the cake the morning of the shower, I was blown away by how closely it matched the picture. It was absolutely beautiful, and the cannoli filling was a huge hit—guests couldn’t stop raving about it and kept asking where the cake was from!
I’ll absolutely be returning to The Cake Lady for future events. Her work is stunning and the desserts taste just as amazing as they look!
Attached is the inspiration photo and the actual cake...
Read moreI went in to kindly ask about customized cakes and felt attacked when I showed pictures of fondant cakes. A simple, "I'm sorry, we don't make those here" would have sufficed, but she went on to say how she doesn't believe in using fondant, and how buttercream frosting is superior etc. A customer should never feel that their desire for a product is wrong or lesser. However, I like to give people, especially in small businesses extra chances, so I still decided to try a product even after the rude encounter. I asked for a strawberry dessert because it's my daughter's favorite flavor, and they handed me a Tres leches cake cup which happened to have a little strawberry decor on top but no strawberry flavor inside. (didn't find out until after we left the store) It was the first time I saw my daughter cry and be upset with her treat. She has a sweet tooth and would have loved it even if it wasn't strawberry, but neither of us enjoyed the flavor. If it was reasonably priced, I would not complain, but it was way too expensive. I also bought a pie there (see how l like to give chances?) but that was also overpriced. Very...
