We went for breakfast and although it was 10:00 am it was pretty empty. The food was expensive, it cost $17 for a Greek Omelette with egg whites and an English Muffin and the omelette wasn’t even good. The tomatoes were hard and there was barely any feta cheese. I was never told there was an extra charge for the English Muffin and the writing on the menu for the cost of egg whites was very small. Essentially they charged an extra $4 for those two things. The home fries weren’t good either and the portion was very small. They didn’t even have real butter on the muffin. My husband got the Challah Bread French Toast and we have never seen such small challah bread anywhere. He got two small slices for $10.95 and it came with jam that the waiter took it back when he asked for syrup. The waiter never told me about the extra fees on my order which he should have since I would have ordered toast which came with it because it was already ridiculously expensive. Our bill was $37 for less than substantive food and we couldn’t even say we enjoyed it. I realize costs are up but this was totally not worth the money we paid. We should have a clue when we saw how empty it was. They never reprinted their menu they just stick tape over the prices so they can change them frequently. It used to be a great place to get a meal, however, it has declined...
Read moreWe went to lunch with my family. There was no one ahead. We waited for more than 20 minutes for someone to come and take us to the table. Because the waitress was arguing with the manager. Lufo the waitress came with a very bad attitude, she was very grounded with My children took exactly 33 minutes to prepare simple things like omelet, hamburger, spaghetti and meatball that came full of water like they didn't strain the pasta. When we informed the waitress she said she couldn't do anything. I asked her for Parmesan cheese to the pasta that he never brought. I tried to talk to the waitress that when I entered, I was discussing with her manager in Spanish when I was talking to her, she was Spanish. She answered me in English. They made my family and me pass on a very awkward Sunday. we left the food and when we went to pay talk to the manager who apologized and the waitress came and began to shout at me that if I had not liked it as she took care that she did not return, and the manager did nothing. I really do not recommend anyone to eat at this dinner. And I do not understand how the owners do not see what happens there. A...
Read moreConsidering the fact that I grew up in upstate NY I really love going to diners when I come up to visit. We were out thrifting and were having a great day. We got hungry and I saw from the road the Executive diner. I got excited to have some good old fashioned diner food. I ordered Buffalo chicken wings. However, before I ordered them, I asked two different servers if the wings were breaded. Both of them said no and they both seemed to be sure of that. My companion ordered a BLT with fries, which was passable but not great. Sadly when the food came my wings were breaded! After all that effort to make sure they weren't breaded, and it turned out they were! This kind of screw up is upsetting to me. I would have happily ordered something else had I known (or just driven to a good diner). The servers were nice, a little slow, but pleasant. I told our server that the next time someone asks if the buffalo chicken wings have breading, please tell them yes. Other than that this diner might very well be a reasonable place to grab a quick bite. I won't go back though, because I do know of very good diners...
