Always like to to try new BBQ joints and Gove BBQ Company in Naples, New York didn't disappoint this BBQ lover. Absolutely love the option to purchase smoked meats by the pound ( like you can in the South, 1/4lb, 1/2lb or whatever you want ) and sandwhich options too. Just enough smoke on meats, probably the best I've had in a long time. Brisket was perfect. Moist, yet really lean and not fatty, sliced perfectly, and delicious rub. Loved it! Pulled pork was silky smooth with a fine chop with just the right amount of juices that were running down my chin because I couldn't get in my mouth quick enough. The Ribs, oh my. Great bite, finger licking great rub and I believe had their Memphis BBQ was slathered on them. The sides, had them all. Just as good as the BBQ and no doubt, the best collard greens I've ever had! Great service as well. Really, really great BBQ that I live an hour away from and will be frequently very often. Nice job Grove...
Read moreWe came into Naples to check out Grimes Glen and wanted food and beer after our hike. We ordered the garbage plate special and the jalapeno Twinkies that were on special as well as a half rack of ribs. We received our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. The seating is all outdoors but we preferred a spot to cool down after our hike so we took our food to Naples brewing down the street which encourages customers to bring food from local restaurants. They even recommended Groves BBQ as a good local spot to bring food from. I'm so glad we stopped at Groves because it was genuinely some of the best BBQ I've ever had! The ribs were nice and saucy and peeled right off the bone. The Garbage plate was a hefty serving and absolutely delicious. My boyfriend can be picky about his garbage plates being from the Rochester area but he was very pleased! We will definitely be back next time...
Read moreWhile on vacation in the Finger Lakes region, I always look for new places to eat. I looked up this place and ventured out to try their barbecue. Let me just tell you the staff are amazing, so sweet and they answered all of questions I had about their menu with patience and politeness(which is hard to find these days). The first day I tried the brisket, mac n cheese, banana pudding, and macaroni salad. All of the food was good but man oh man, that brisket was so good, I came back for more the next day. Dont get me started on their own house made sauces either. They are finger licking good. Thank you for loving your customers and what you do, it definitely shows...
