Friendly's — Restaurant in Town of New Hartford

My family and I went last night approximately 8 tables 2 waitresses we were seated for over 20 minutes before even getting a drink then when we were finally waited on she came to get our order we wanted to start with appetizers after my husband asked for the appetizers she went to want to get our complete order which we don’t want our whole meal at the same time it took another 25 min to get our appetizers she did take our order after getting the appetizers another 25 min for that never asked us for refills 2 of the meals the turkey clubs no bacon on half of it the bread was stale no mayo so unbelievable and to catch a waitress forget it we did get our ice cream and yet again 20 min later no one walked in after us except 1 table and all the tables that were there had been there for a while so how did our wait did everything take as long as it did we were there for almost 2 hours to get through our dinner experience the service was so bad don’t need know where the manager was they should be checking on the tables even though the waitress was trying to be pleasant the whole experience was awful going to the bathroom and your feet sticking to the floor and smelled I used to work at friendlys a long time ago and it was fantastic then after this experience this one should be shut down I can’t even imagine if that dining room was packed we would have left in the middle of our meal and to spend almost 150.00 including tip I feel ripped off and will never come back i would never recommend eating there maybe just sell ice cream and give up everything else major disappointment And per the comments im sure this is a waste of my time telling you nothing was...

4/1/25 - ordered delivery. The breakfast melt was disgusting, no yolks at all one side of sandwich, two over cooked well done egg yolks on other side of sandwich. I've ordered this sandwich many times, the eggs were always over easy cooked so you had yolk to dip sandwich in. I'll attach pics if gross sandwich i received, I didn't even eat this disgusting mess of a sandwich. Be warned if no option on how to cook the eggs don't buy as you will get a messed up meal.

10/27/24 update, delivery via grubhub. The (harvest stack) hot covered turkey was completely cold, not even warm in the least. It could have been a delicious covered sandwich but not when it's so cold it tastes like they literally opened a can of gravy & just poured it over cold turkey, stuffing & mashed potatoes. It also came in an open plastic bag, not sealed at all. Not cool at all friendly's!! the paper containers the food comes in are horrible. The banana split was mostly melted & all you could taste was strawberries, no pineapples, marshmallow sauce or chocolate syrup. Just an all around horrible meal & dessert. Friendly's quality has completely gone to non existent. Maybe if eating in restaurant it may be better, but if getting delivery, just expect cold disgusting food & management that could care less! Deserves negative zero stars $40 is not a cheap meal. Find somewhere else to eat delivery because you will not be happy here.

I used to never have issues with their food, Whatever the reasons, friendly's needs...

The service was horrible. Kept forgetting my straws for each drink (they took my 1st cup with straw when they handed me 2nd drink) Forgot the extra bacon. When I get my burger, I cut it in the middle, and it was pink. She takes it back, few minutes later she informs me that I had to ask for it well done, or it'll come up like that "pink".... she should of kept that to her self and they should ask how you want your burger cook. A different table got her burger after me, and the same issue even after telling her she wanted it well done. But some how that table got her 2nd burger while I'm still waiting. Waited 10mins and nothing. I told a different waitress I don't want the burger any more. She told them immediately, still our waitress goes to a new table, before coming to us knowing were having a issue. If they cant handle a situation properly, they need to know to involve a manager. It was unacceptable the amount of time I waited, the service, and what I was told about I have to ask for my food fully cooked. To top it all off, I got up and went to the car, my boyfriend dealt with the rest, the manager had the nerves to ask our waitress if I ate any of it at all. 1st off there lucky I cut it, other wise if I didnt i'll be throwing up all over there carpet, even if I was to eat some, what does it matter? A very unpleasant experience. And was very much looking forward to coming...
