You would not believe the quality and vast array of delicious food and dessert items you can find and order at this location. Whether you are ordering breakfast, lunch or dinner everything made here has a real homemade feel and will taste like the best thing you have ever had. Every time I go I try and order something new because my family and I cannot get over how everything tastes like an instant hit. Not to mention the quantity is always extremely generous, you will either be full or have leftovers for later. I cannot recommend the sandwiches, pastas and desserts enough. The Cuban and the pastrami bomb are particular household favorites. And the desserts are honestly unlike anywhere else in the Hudson Valley. If you stop by you HAVE to grab a dessert out of the fridge. After having the homemade rice pudding or cheesecake you won’t want it from anywhere else. And that’s just a fraction of the gems that come out of this place. The giant home baked cookies and honestly anything in that grab and go refrigerator from desserts to side salads are 10/10s. Don’t be shy when ordering from Danny the owner or his son Dan. They run the shop together and have big Italian personalities that make you feel like you’ve known them forever. Don’t pass up the opportunity to stop in at Dan Ds Kitchen if you have the chance! You will not regret it and it will become a regular...

Yooooo! Don't sleep on this absolute gem hidden in the gas station. I drive truck and frequent the area and I always have to grab something here. Most times they are closed as I'm in later at night, but I always grab a prepared fresh daily Italian sub from the cooler.

Today I got a special chicken cutlet masterpiece which I, unfortunately, forget exactly what was on it, but it is a chicken cutlet sub, with roasted peppers, fresh mozz, balsamic drizzle, and I forgot what else. Anyway, literally moaned after my first bite. Am I a little over the top with the review? Maybe. But trust me. It's that good.

Stop In and I promise you won't be let down. Oh I forgot! The breakfast sandwiches are great too. True...

I parked at the Pilot across the street for a 10h break. I saw the reviews about Dan D’s and had to ck it out.

I got an Italian combo and it was absolutely delicious.

The cold cuts were so flavorful and NOT salty.

The roasted red peppers tasted fresh and melted in my mouth.

The price was extremely fair for the portion served.

The owners (father/son) were super cool and friendly.

I hope to visit again real soon....
