Let's start with the atmosphere. What I noticed first is that it is very clean. Decorations were sparse but pleasant. Plenty of room, the tables are not crowded together which is really nice. We heard an acoustic duo and the music wasn't too loud, the room had a nice sound for music. Service... I didn't get our waitresses name but she was super sweet. She did a great job and I think she may have been the only server on the floor. Food... Parts of the meal were great... others not so much and these parts could be fixed so quickly. The bad... the rolls and butter clearly store bought rolls and heated, request for more they were cold out of the package. The salad was beyond basic. I asked for blue cheese dressing, I believe maybe they ran out and it was basically sour cream with some crumbles in it. If this is the normal blue cheese dressing they need to change that. Again, so minor in the big picture but this is how the meal starts so it just sets the mood. Now to the main course... My friend ordered the Steak Marsala and I ordered the crab stuffed haddock. We thought she was going to get a steak... with a side of pasta it was slices of steak on a HUGE bed of pasta with a thick marsala sauce on the pasta. Tasty but should not be listed as a steak. This is a pasta dish with meat on top. The crab stuffed haddock was excellent. I had it with a side of mashed potatoes which were very nice and the veggie medley was tasty and still had some crisp to it, not mushy at all. I recommend this dish and would have it again. This is my first time ever giving a bad review. My family and bought property just outside the area. I gave this place 3 chances 1st time a friend and I went just to grab something we were working all day we didn’t have a reservation but we’re seated within a minute of walking in then we sat at the table for about 25 minutes nobody even said hi or would you like a drink. We left ended up with Stewart’s pizza. 2nd time. My wife 2 sons and I we had decent service but food was not to brag about. But took longer than expected 3 rd time. Late Sunday only options in town the local. Or pizza it was half empty I figured I would give it a shot, sat at the bar ordered ice tea I don’t drink alcohol so can’t review that. Cute, friendly place. Our meals weren’t great. Penne a La vodka was a huge portion of pasta (enough for like 3 people) with what tasted like jarred sauce, and long strips of bland chicken breast. Husband had chicken teriyaki featuring the same exact bland chicken strips. Rolls tasted like they were straight from a grocery store plastic bag. This place feels like it’s trying hard to present an upscale vibe, but the food is subpar. They should cut the menu way back and just focus on doing fewer things but with...
