The Porch at Calabria — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

When it was the Cloverleaf, the food was excellent, the service was reliable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. First experience at the Porch at Calabria was TERRIBLE. Came here on a Monday night about an Hour before closing just looking to order a few sandwiches and a seltzer....One guy working, he was visibly annoyed we were there looking for service. Yet he seemed to be happy to take shots with friends of his at the bar and joke around. We had to get our own Utensils and Napkins. When we tried to put in one additional item after ordering, he shook his head that we dare ask for something else. Refills on drinks required us getting up going over to the bar and asking. He did not come to the table once after taking our order. Not even to bring the check, had to go to the bar for that too. I get the concept of one person working being overwhelmed by a somewhat busy bar, but this was straight up poor service. Calabria, get...

Google reviews looked good, so I thought to give it a try. Didn't quite meet my expectations.

Got the personal bacon chicken ranch, and it was bland. I ate half and got the rest to go. Ended up throwing away o e I got to the hotel later that evening.

The server forgot about me, and I had to get another person to get my check. She was very apologetic, but I could have left 15 minutes earlier had I said something sooner.
