Briarcliff Bagels & More — Restaurant in Town of Ossining

I work very close to the Deli, and as usual, we decided to order breakfast today. I’ve never said anything before, but today was the last straw, and I decided to write. I don’t understand why they have a menu if they don’t follow it. The last three times I ordered "The Breakfast Burrito Wrap," and it never goes well.

The first time, they didn’t add cheese. The second time, I asked to add bacon (the menu description doesn’t mention bacon). They said it was already included, but guess what? It came without it. And today, I ordered the same thing, and the person taking my order asked me what type of burrito I wanted, what I wanted inside, and then told me they didn’t have the whole wheat wrap... Fine, I get that they didn’t have the whole wheat wrap, but why keep asking me what I wanted inside after I had already told them I wanted it as described on the menu? When I ordered "The Heart Attack," it was sent without bacon, even though bacon is part of the description on the website. Also, the amount of cheese they use isn’t ideal. Cheese is essential for holding the ingredients together, but the wraps usually arrive with everything falling apart because they use almost no cheese. One last point, the person on the phone taking the order wasn't friendly at all.

Honestly, this place confuses me. It has the potential to be a standout spot, but my recent experiences are really making me consider ordering elsewhere.

I'm editing my review just to clarify that, although I haven’t gone in person to discuss this (which I won’t do because I’m working and have limited time, of course), my coworkers and I have always told whoever answers the phone that our order was messed up and asked them to take notes to ensure...

June 2023: there’s been a change in management, and it’s led to a huge improvement. The everything bagels are actually covered all the way around again, and have more of the everything topping. The cream cheese is back to a good consistency and flavor. I think both could use a tiny bit of salt, but that’s minor in the scheme of things. Next time I’ll call ahead and ask for an order with salt added. I’m happy to say that my family’s old go-to bagel spot can be our go-to again!

2020 review, 2 stars: Ever since the last change in management/ownership, the bagels and cream cheese haven’t been as good. The everything bagels are more like “a little something” bagels, and the cream cheese is a different texture and flavor, especially the scallion.

I am so happy Bryers is now officially Briarcliff Bagels! I recommend anyone who loves a good BEC, bagels, treats and amazing coffee goes there. They Make everything with love. Compared to getting a BEC at Rocky’s Deli, Briarcliff Bagels puts 2 eggs, cheese and more than more slice of FRESH, not pre cooked bacon on every sandwich ! Everything is made with love there, their hospitality is impeccable, and over all I would give them a 10/10! Great people and great upbeat energy! I Can’t complain. It’s so clean, everything is freshly made, and they have large variety of different cream cheese, pastries etc. I especially love that it’s all cost effective! TRY THEIR COLD BREW COFFEE TOO! YOU Won’t regret it!!! When I say it’s amazing, it really is!
