If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, look no further than Flames Steak House in Ossining! My sister and I had the pleasure of dining here, and it was an unforgettable evening from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated quickly, which set the tone for the rest of the evening.
We started with a classic Caesar salad, which was fresh and flavorful. The salmon was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of seasoning, while the Chicken Parmesan was rich and comforting. The garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were the perfect sides, complementing our entrees beautifully.
For drinks, I enjoyed a glass of Cybernetic Sauvignon, which paired wonderfully with my meal, while my sister sipped on a refreshing Malibu Bay Breeze. To top off our meal, we indulged in a rich, creamy slice of cheesecake, which was the perfect end to a perfect dinner.
But what truly made the night stand out was the impeccable service. Arben, our server, was absolutely fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to have an amazing experience. We need more servers like him!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreNice building on a somewhat industrial street. Once inside the atmosphere is very nice with a beautiful bar and nice wood paneling throughout the dining room. Dinner started out nice with a good shrimp cocktail and nice spaghetti carbonara advertised as "done the right way".It was very good. I ordered a T-Bone rare, my wife ordered extra thick veal chops, my partner and his wife both ordered the filet mignon medium rare. We were all very disappointed with the meats. I think my t-bone may have actually been bad, it has a funny smell and tasted old. My partner and his wife said the same about the filet mignon. We each only ate 1/2 of our steaks and not because they were too big. The cream spinach for two was not too good and buttered mushrooms for two was average. They had a nice dessert table and desserts were good. We went out that evening to enjoy a steak night out so, unfortunately it was a disappointing dining experience. It seems like Flames has the appetizers and dessert right but, the steaks and vegetables fall short. Maybe not enough turnover and aged steaks over age? I am not sure but we left disappointed. I struggled between 2 or 3 stars but, decided on 2 because it is advertised as a steakhouse. I am not a price conscious diner but, if you are this place is ridiculously overpriced. I am not sure I'd give Flames...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA true hidden gem in Westchester County. Joey and Paul are the epitome of how Maitre d's perform in a top class Steakhouse. Engaged with the customers, checking in and out with those customers arriving and leaving and doting on those seated customers steadily but not overly.
Their staff are carefully layered with waiters, servers and clean up. All very professional and friendly. We never felt overwhelmed or underserved at any point. This is the exact type of service every high end restaurant should aspire to and should mimic.
Each course of food came out was on time and correct in it's doneness. We enjoyed the tuna, jumbo shrimp cocktail and clams oregenata for appetizers. For our main entree, Porterhouse steak for three with garlic mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts and sauteed mushrooms. All excellent and of a quality you would find in any of the top steakhouses in Manhattan.
Dessert was a pecan pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, double expresso and coffee. All were excellent.
We enjoyed our first time here and will be returning...
