Pat's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Ovid

EDIT: Didn't think it could get worse. YOU HAVE 4 LOCATIONS. The definition of a CHAIN restaurant ON GOOGLE is 3 locations. I didn't show up thinking your food was going to be gross. I knew where I was going, as I've been there before. I hope you truly learn what customer service is. Sheesh. I am not one to leave a review, let alone edit one AFTER the first one. But when the response to a customer issue is anything less then "I am sorry to hear that"...with some effort of refund/replacement....damn skippy I am going to say something.

*Original review: I just want to start off with that I was not expecting anything wonderful going to Pat’s Pizza. It’s a chain after all. But the philly cheesesteak sandwich was not seasoned, inedible and exceptionally disappointing. Customer service was not great and I got attitude thrown at me. I was essentially told I was wrong and that there was tons of seasoning on the Philly. The manager apologized but then said “oh I just have resting angry face.” (Not the best quality for an employee, let alone a manager). They also need a better refund system for card purchases. Apparently, they cannot refund your money to your card, but they have to double charge the entire order again and then cancel the first charge. I have never heard of this system in my life, especially at a small chain restaurant, and I’ve worked food service for 20 years. I wanted a refund, and left hungry and -$10.25. I will never eat...

I left a 3 star review a few weeks ago. It was pretty brutal. Id be lying if i didnt say that the terrible day i was having played a role in that review. I have gone back multiple times since and im happy to say that this place has won me over. My go to order is hot wings and a slice. Last time, I complained about them serving 10 wings instead of 12. Upon further review, the wings are decent size and are great. And honestly no human needs that many chicken wings at once. 10 might even be too much. Its just gluttonous at that point. One thing I will say is that i wish they had one step up above hot. Im a guy who really loves a good kick. The hot sauce, while tasting great, just leaves me wanting more spice. I also acknowledge that even the hot wings can be too spicy for some people. I guess my palate is just destroyed. But i think it would be awesome to implement an extra hot. You can even give it a funny name like "inferno" or "blazin'". Pizza is good. Pretty similar to a mark's conveyer oven style pizza. Crust is okay, but im also not a crust fan really in general so take that how you will. The best bites of a pizza to me are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Overall solid pizza joint. Havent really branched out much from my regular order but i dont really have a desire. If somethings not broken, dont fix it. Also, the guy that runs the place is a great dude. Being we have one selection for take out food in our area(since the Ovid fire) and my family orders frequently, I can't help but finally leave a review..and it saddens me but come on Pats!! . Past 4-6 times we've ordered our food was low quality from *over cooked pizza, wings only 30% edible w large family party($140 order) as the breading was SO hard on all our boneless wings , no meat even in them, so we wasted most all of them and the list goes on!! Tonight we order a chicken parm SUB and a buffalo chicken calzone al8ng w few orher items. Noone on phone had answers to new menu, sub was in a small round Kaiser roll and my calzone-DISGUSTING!! No buffalo sauce, no ricotta even put in it, and 4 pieces of Popcorn chicken (literally Popcorn chicken??!!🤯😡) on entire cheese n bread calzone!! MOD appeared high on something, no joke!! Those poor employees were clearly very busy, but what happened to the ingredients we knew??!! SERVICE n QUALITY no more!! I've gotta say after another expensive, unedible meal im not usually a complainer BUT COME ON!! Waste of my $ AGAIN! DO better! Prices arent cheap, and delivering nasty food is...
