Village Soft Serve — Restaurant in Town of Ovid

Got there and there were 5 people ahead of the 4 of us. A Bachelorette party with 4 people and a kid. The last lady from the Bachelorette party got her ice cream sundae and she said this is wrong. It's not what I ordered. She explained what she ordered. The lady taking the orders said to the girl who made the sundae you need to collect more money from her. If her order was wrong then she needs to pay more. I didn't charge her enough. Red flag for me. We had already been in line for 20 minutes. And the 4 girls had already ordered and paid. We got up the the window and the lady taking the orders had a first graders pencil that needed to be sharpened so bad. Post it notes for a note pad. Post its all over the place. 4 of us ordered a large banana split. $10.99. I said can I get that in a cup please? She said kind of rude "so stack it?" I said "I guess if that's what it means" I thought it would be like my local ice cream shop 11 bucks gets you a big cup of ice cream and fruit and hot fudge. (Our local shop in king ferry ny a large split comes in a 40 oz cup) Nope I was wrong. It was a 16oz cup She opened the window and said small banana split. I said no I ordered a large. She said yeah that's what I mean. My banana split was liquid. It sat inside for so long it melted. I ordered hard ice cream because I hate liquid ice cream.the 2nd one came out made with soft ice cream and it was like a milk shake. By the time the 4th split came out I had almost finished mine. I have gotten more ice cream in a sundae from mcdonalds then I got in this cup. It was 100% disorganized. The lady taking orders did not help the girls at all. I am in the area along due to work. What a little gem, I'm so happy we stumbled upon this place during our camping trip at Sampson State Park! They make more than 20 different soft serve flavors when they're ordered, so it's not like they're all sitting around premade. They also have hard ice cream, a wide variety of shakes, sundaes and various other ice cream novelties. We visited with a group of 8 and no one was disappointed with their order! They also have food, but other than some onion rings we didn't get much off that menu. I'd have to assume it's all as delicious 😋 The staff was so friendly, helpful and patient (as I said we had a group of 8, half were kids and there were a lot of choices 😆). We even stopped by one more time on our way...

Ice cream was good. There was no sign on the door saying not to enter, my 4 yr old son had to use the restroom since we were waiting over 20 mins for our ice cream and 1 burger walked in and the lady was quite rude about it not being opened I ask if my son could use the restroom as it was right there(again he's only 4) was told no and told to leave again and was not asked in a nice way...maybe if they don't want people in there should be a sign up...the burger we waited over 20 mins for ended up in the garbage because the middle was not even warm.
