Terrible service. Took an hour and ten minutes to get a pizza, which was 40 mins over the latest delivery time. The delivery boy told me that they made him deliver an order with mine that took him 13 minutes in the opposite direction from my house and so my order sat in his car for over a half hour getting cold. When I called to complain, they flat out refused to do anything bu offer me a discount for next time, which is laughable becuase why would I wasnt to order from them again and get a crappy cold pizza with no regard for my time or needs. Everything was just appauling, and talking to the owner was SHAMEFUL as he was the one who started yelling at ME onthe phone when HE was the one who screwed up from beginning to end. I also was told that they do this ALL THE TIME. so good to know after I wasted my money on them, If I could give them negative stars, I would.
Bottom line: I could tell from many reviews on grubhub and otherwise that they screw up and then don't fix it and not only do they not fix it, their attitude is just appauling. They made me get a refund from grubhub and not them, and the OWNER cursed me out because I said I didn't want a credit for next time because why would I order again from them to get a cold and late pizza? They should be ASHAMED of themselves the way they conduct themselves with customers. ASHAMED.

Mistakes happen I get that, however, I first used to slice app to see if they could remedy the situation as the calzone was not edible. Slice asked of i wanted a redelivery, “great, sure.” His next message then said unfortunately the cook said he checked the calzone and it was cooked perfectly. So then I call myself to tell them the situation. The first call I was placed on hold for a few minutes after explaining the situation then the call was ended before anyone returned. So i call back and ask for a new calzone since mine is raw. I was told that i had to drive over the pizzeria (after ordering delivery) to show them my raw calzone, and then and only then, would they fire up a new calzone while I wait. Not even to mention I was moving into a new home the next day had no food in the house ordered delivery so i could continue to pack. The person on the phone seemed to not believe me that the dough was raw, and also adamantly refused to delivery me a new calzone even though i told him i would show the driver the raw dough of my previous calzone. Read moreWe live right around the corner from Mama Venezia. We have been ordering from them for at least 10 years. Faithfully every Friday and sometimes mid week. We have never complained about things that arrive undercooked because overall their food is good. However , for the last 5-10 visits, we have received undercooked dough in the chicken roll, watered down tortellini soup (twice) and undercooked pizza. Today’s pizza was undercooked and arrived cold. Why are they treating us like this? We are loyal and steadfast patrons yet they just don’t care. One time, I went into the shop to pick up my food. They didn’t acknowledge me despite the fact that I was picking up over 100.00 in food. The owner, instead, gushed over another female patron. He offered her free sodas and free items while I stood there waiting. Ignored. I really don’t understand this behavior. My husband called the restaurant to tell them about the watered down soup and they did nothing. The next order arrived exactly the same.
