Messina Market — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

The business was sold in feb/March 2020. New owner (she) obviously has no clue how to run a business. This place has screwed up my take out orders 2 of the last 3 times. Upon calling them to let them know I was told by someone claiming to be the owner that if I don’t like the place maybe I shouldn’t come back, then she hung up on me. Harsh statement for a place charging a fortune for glorified deli food. I wouldn’t let my employees speak to my clients that way. This place is a joke. Smarten up people. Extremely incompetent and extremely rude. Never again! This is what happens when business...

Food is excellent. Cozy vibe here to meet for a light meal or coffee. I was confused with the ordering process, so here is what I learned: If you want coffee, you pay first, they give you a cup, then it's self-serve. If you order a meal at the counter, and you're going to eat there, they will bring it to your table, along with the price sticker, which you bring to the register. So I wound up at the register twice. Took at least 10-15 minutes for the sandwich. Not a great place if you are in a rush, but though they do have prepared items...

Disgusting! I bought a panini to go and when I got back to work to eat it, it was ice cold. I threw it out. I kept trying to contact the store and could not get in touch with a live person or leave a message with a manager. So I left a message with the catering department who never forwarded my message. Finally, when I was back in the area 2 weeks later, they told me that unless I specifically tell them to heat up the panini, they just give it to you straight out of the...
