New China — Restaurant in Town of Palatine

LONG wait!! Smelled burning food. The kids were on the register...the parents cooking in the back...the youngest obviously did NOT want to be there...angry faced & rude! Fighting amongst each other even in another language I could tell. The atmosphere was tense. This child SNATCHED money out of my hands!! if I wasn't so hungry I wouldn't have bought it. Horrible customer service and they don't even greet you when you walk in the door! Then they ALL actually stare at you like you shouldn't be there! I don't want to spend my money here ever again and obviously you don't want to make money by treating customers better. I won't be going back. Asking for and receiving eating utensils and napkins was like pulling teeth. They looked at me as if they were offended that I asked for them. There are other Chinese restaurants where I'm treated better I just have to drive a little further. It will be worth it. You've changed too much for me. About a year ago my family got takeout here for dinner one night. My husband found a bug (pretty sure a roach) cooked into his general tso chicken. We haven't been back until last night we decided to give it another try. Upon going in the place looked a mess as always. Tables are sticky as hell. Plus side there were no bugs in the food lol. The food was good....not great but tasted good. I would say this place isn't terrible but nothing special either. The food quality could be much better. I have heard numerous complaints about this place and never fully listened to any of them. But I will now completely tell people to stay away from this place as my sister found dead flies in her food and I have also learned of some other very disturbing other stories as well. Be very careful if you order from here. I will be calling the health department based on information from my sister and many friends horrible...
