Decided to overlook the fact that the Food was overpriced because the area isn’t exactly a place for cheap eats. However this food was straight up atrocious and overpriced - basically the bagels are bland, doughy, and completely flavorless!
1)The cinnamon raisin bagel with butter tastes like a warm wet paper towel and the bacon, egg&cheese literally had one piece of bacon cut in half on the sandwich. A New York bagel place that can’t make a decent bacon egg and cheese is simply inexcusable.... :0/
This place is all around bad news for anyone looking for a decent breakfast place in the Pelham area. You’re better off just getting out of bed and driving to the Bronx or New Rochelle if you want a decent breakfast sandwich.
Lenny’s bagels on Boston Post Rd. is easily the worst bagel I’ve ever had. I hope someone opens up a decent deli in the Pelham manor area and puts this place out of business.
Avoid Lenny’s bagels and...
Read moreI never come here but my parents live across the street and always buy bagels here, so I decided to stop by before our pool day. The attitude of the gentleman working there is beyond rude, and needs customer service training. I didn’t hear him and he greets me with “that’s what I said didn’t I” although he was rude I still proceeded to order and he asked me what dressing I wanted with the salads, I proceeded to tell him “the recommended that you have on the sign is fine” (they have a big salad menu with recommended dressings for each salad) he then goes “I just asked you what dressing” and I proceeded to tell him “the recommended is fine there’s a dressing listed on the bottom of each salad” and then he goes “yeah we’ll I can’t read so you need to tell me what they are” embarrassing customer service and hostile for no reason, highly doubt he can’t read and it’s embarrassing how you don’t know what dressings go with each salad on the menu. How are you making them without knowing the ingredients? So I told him it’s fine and I no longer want the salad. Also called my parents immediately after because NONE of us will be eating there. Also, maybe I dodged a bullet because I read through other reviews and they mention that the...
Read moreI received my delivery order from here for the first time today. My bagels were wrapped in a thin sheet of what looked like baking paper and then put in a brown paper bag without handles.
The bag was so thin that the butter on my bagel leaked through it to the point that I had to dab the bagel with a paper towel upon receipt of my order.
Had the delivery driver not had the presence of mind to make sure to hand off a contactless order which was specifically requested to be left on the door handle, he might have had no choice but to leave my order on the floor. I am grateful to him.
However, I would suggest that moving forward an appropriate delivery bag should be used and a moderate amount of butter added to the bagel. I was unable to really enjoy my order due to my constant dabbing to deal with the drenched food.
In all fairness, if I order again I will ask for moderate toppings because no restaurant should have to read a customer’s mind. Perhaps some people prefer their bagels to have a swim in butter before they eat them.
That being said, no customer should have to ask for packaging which at the very least preserves the quality of the food and supports the safe...
