McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Peru

The food wasn't terrible. We ordered chicken strips, 2 hamburgers, a ten piece of nuggets, 2 milkshakes and a coke. Chicken strips and nuggets were great as I expected. I happened to be very hungry on this certain occasion so I was looking forward to this meal. They were very busy I understand, I believe this led to the fact that we got only 1 straw with our 3 drinks. This is not my gripe however, my issue is that when I ordered those 2 hamburgers they came with ketchup, I understand most people enjoy ketchup on their burgers. But when you order nuggets or tenders they ask would you like any sauce with that, I wish they would apply this same courtesy to the burgers. Especially if you order it without cheese aswell. This really did gripe me however I marked it 3 stars when I really wanted to mark it 1 because I understand this is probably a corporate policy and it is not the fault of this particular...

I'm not a fan anymore as I was growing up. I am an avid salt lover (for the record I know it's not good for you) but that is what kept me going back for more. Over the years their hamburger has become tasteless to me and I think they are quite stingy on the mustard and ketchup. Your lucky if you taste them as you hit the center of your burger. Let's not forget the awesome/less fries. They barely fill the containers anymore and the salt..oh boy...wheres the salt? Again, I know it's not good for you but hey, why do you go if you don't crave that flavor of grease and salt! Let's not forget the prices!! Outrageous! 4 little chicken nuggets cost about $3.00...what the hey?! Talk about profit. Anyways I don't mean to offend anyone but if you want taste and pay for what your getting go to their competitor...not to say any names but you even get to be King for day with money left in...

I think McDonald's overall has good tasting food, but it has recently gotten very expensive. My favorite cheeseburger there is the triple cheeseburger, but it went from $3, and is now almost $5. I understand inflation has affected the cost of things, it's just a lot more money than you would expect to spend at a fast food restaurant. A large fry there is almost $5. I normally use the McDonald's app and try to get my daily deals like free medium fry Friday or $1 large fries any day and eventually your points add up so you can get free items. Most of the locations in our area are generally clean and well staffed, but they generally take a long time to wait on you if you go in and place an in-person order. Every time I order with the app I have found that my food is ready to pick up much faster than...
