Astoria Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Phelps

Be cautioned, they don't accept debit or credit cards. NOT A GOOD POLICY. They don't tell you this at first, there's a small sign far from the entrance. They just tell you there's an ATM down the street. RIDICULOUS. We were prepared to have a large breakfast for a group. No one had cash so we ended up with water and coffee. We would have been fine paying the 4%. THEY SHOULD PASS ON THE BANK FEES TO CUSTOMERS BY RAISING PRICES OR ADD IT TO THE TAB!!

It's ugly inside and very dated. somewhere in the 80's. Sun faded photos and motel art. Tacky plastic booths and weird houseplants in the window.

Literally, just left Astoria to go to the restaurant 4 minutes down the road because of the unprofessional service received here today! My fiance and I were heading out for lunch and decided to stop in to this establishment. Not one customer was in the restaurant and I do not wonder why. After we placed our order the older lady behind the counter told our waitress "I just tell them there is a restaurant 4 minutes up the road to get rid of them!"

I just stopped here with my partner and our son. I really had to use the bathroom so my partner dropped me off in front and then went to park. When I went inside I was "greeted" by a very rude woman who said "that's not a public restroom." I can't speak to the quality of the food because after being treated so disrespectfully we decided to eat elsewhere. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere this is not the...
