As a lifelong icecream addict, lol, I have always and still do savor the delicious, soft, creamy icecream flavors and texture of Carvel. They offer a variety of toppings such as chopped nuts, sprinkles, crunchies and much more. You can have your choice of a cup or two types of cones (sugar and wafer). Of course, Carvel is also well known for their personalized, specially designed and shaped ice cream cakes (in different sizes) with crunchies inside. Horrible. We came on a Sunday, 4/25/21 at around 5:30. Person behind the counter was clearly in a rush and didn’t want to be there. Ordered two Carvelanches which were pathetically made. The small wasn’t even filled 3/4 of the way and the large was filled with what looks like was a small. When questioned about the size, we were told, “all of them have the same amount of ice cream.” So why am I paying for a large when a small has the same amount of ice cream? You either love Carvel or you don’t, I am an ice cream guru, and I love most ice cream‘s. Carvel is pretty good, although not the best in my opinion, but this particular store had someone incompetent working the day I went. Maybe she was just having a bad day, maybe she didn’t want to be at work? I don’t know. Carvel ice cream cakes are always great. But if you’re going to get a job in a customer service arena.
