Stopped in yesterday for a pie, visiting from out of town. Grew up around here. My family has ordered pies here since I was a kid. This is hands down the best pizza in Poughkeepsie, and possible even the state. The only real competition was DDs and they closed down. It's made fresh to order 100% of the time, just call in 15 minutes ahead of time. Don't know how they do it but the bread is mouth-watering and the cheese/sauce is just perfect. I love this place. My wife grew in in NYC so she knows pizza. She had a slice yesterday and she thought it was out of this world. I love this place, I hope they never change. They have a wide menu for a pizzeria restaurant, pizza quality/size is great, diner dishes are splendid. If you have allergies, you just need to clearly communicate and they will help as much as possible. Dinning in is separate/offset from the pizza counter which is nice. They do charge $1 or so for card charge which is expected.
Long story short - best pizzeria in the spackenkill...
