Visited The Kitchen Table in Pound Ridge and had a somewhat mixed experience—so I’m settling on giving it 4 stars but I think it should be closer to a 3.5. Their coffee truly stood out. Both the cappuccino and vanilla latte I had were excellent—thoughtfully crafted and delicious. Their service was excellent and the staff their were giggling, chatting with us and overall having a good time. I always had someone within reach to get help or answer questions even though it was really busy when we went. The food is where I had my issues. I was slightly underwhelmed. My huevos rancheros lacked the expected crunch, and the beans seemed a bit under-seasoned. My wife's breakfast burrito was described as 'meh'. Given the price, I hoped for a little more in terms of flavor. That said, their talent for brewing great coffee shines through. I hope to see some improvements in the food to match the wonderful beverage experience. I’ll definitely be back to savor another latte.

This was our first visit to The Kitchen Table and definitely won't be our last! We ordered the Cuban Sandwich and was the most amazing Cuban we ever ate. It was so decadent and juicy. Came with a side of Cape Cod chips. We also ordered the Chicken Salad with salad & did not disappoint. Enjoyed every bite. Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu!

Came here for an early weekday breakfast and it was so charming, quiet, relaxing, ate inside. Delicious brioche French toast, amazing and unique iced dirty chai latte, solid burrito. Played cards and chilled. Would totally come back for another great morning start. 5 stars!!!!

This is a small but nice place to stop in for breakfast or lunch. There is another evening during the week where it opens for dinner and serves beer and wine but I've never been there for that. The menu is simple but tasty and serves locally produced foods. When you go in at breakfast time, make sure to have some hot buttered toast with the jam. That's a treat, and you probably already know that you can't say that about most places. There's take out and service at the table. I found the servers to be a little indifferent and young. I came in for the first time after it just opened, and stood by the counter waiting for a takeout coffee for 15 minutes before someone took my order. That hasn't happened the other times I was there. If you have a large group of people, ask first, because...

There are many great reviews about breakfast and lunch (and rightfully so, the bacon egg and cheese on a croissant is a revelation. Might have to order 2.) but the Friday night dinner has arguably the best food around. I was surprised to learn that the best meatball parm sandwich i’ve had could indeed from the kitchen table. The ingredients are fresh, the friendliness of the staff is that of true family hospitality, and the coziness of the atmosphere is magazine worthy. Easy to enjoy a bite or...
