Nonna's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Putnam Valley

I’ve been an avid supporter of Nonna’s since they first opened even when they’re food was hard to chew. I always went back even if the last time was gross because getting food delivered is convenient. This was the last straw though. Our food came after 2hrs & a confusing phone call (nasty self proclaimed manager phone girl said they tried to deliver it but we didn’t answer the door and they called multiple times- lie). Once we received the food it was absolutely disgusting. The chicken pie had 0 sauce when finally delivered & whatever was previously there got sucked up when they reheated it. The plain pie looked as though it had been sitting on my counter over night. Crispy. Once I saw this- I called again to ask for a refund. I was met with we ALWAYS get complaints from you we will not refund you. Meanwhile my last complaint was 2.5 years ago when there was ants embedded in my pizza and I said this to her and her reply was I threw my pizza on my kitchen floor to get a refund? Do. Not. Order. Pasta. Used to order pizza when we first moved to town until we discovered pretty much everyone else's pie is better. Not to say it's bad, just the bottom of a group of 8 places we order from. Their slices on the other hand are always fresh and there's a great selection, so I recommend going in for a slice (I do often). With that said, don't order pasta. It's the worst pasta I've ever had (just tried again last night to see if it's gotten better. It used to be not great. Now it's bad). The tomato sauce is bland, not very tomato forward at all. At first I rated this place 5 stars. After going a few times, I realized it wasn't that great. The sauce taste like canned sauce, pizza doe is off a little, Sicilian is awful, chicken roll taste like a hot Pocket, chicken parmesan hero sux, doesn't taste like they spice the chicken or tenderize it, very thick and bland.
