Latin Star — Restaurant in Town of Ramapo

I dropped a client off that works in spring valley and she recommended this Latin restaurant. Easy parking, big space and clean bathrooms. I got there at 9 AM so I had breakfast. I had the mango, fried cheese, salami and scrambled eggs for just $8.00 I know what a dope deal right?! Wrong it lacked all the flavor. Mongo needed salt, pepper and adobo. The fried cheese was my favorite park the eggs had a lot of oil and the salami was crunch on 1 side and soft on the other. When I seen the food I was very excited but once I tried it I was very disappointed because I don’t like to waste food and I didn’t finish my food. They gave a lot of onions which I was very happy about but the onions even tasted bad they didn’t soak it in enough vinegar I guess but yeah if your a foodie and know what this meal should taste like I wouldn’t recommend it! I was in there just today & ordered rice & beans. I noticed the beans were in a watery & light orange color sauce. The sauce is usually thick and have a more rich, dark color. I went back inside and told him that the beans was very watery and thin. They had me taste the beans and I was correct. It was very watery and the flavor was lacking. There was no flavor. And the man there said “what do you want me to do”. He said, “You’re not going to take the beans?”. I answered him, “No, my daughter isn’t going to like this. There’s zero flavor and it’s watery.” He throws it in the garbage. I asked if I could be compensated & he responds that I wasted his food and now it’s in the garbage. I got food today from the buffet. I took it home put the food together and when I was going to get ready for a bit I found a long black hair in my food. I called them up and told the manager what happened. He apologized and said I can get a refund or something else. I told him I'll come in and get something else not from the buffet. I asked him what did he want me to do with the food I had with me. I told him I can bring it back. He said no just throw it out, so I did. When I get there he apologized again and gave me the meat. But, told me I had to pay for the rice and the bean sauce. If I knew he would say that I would have brought him back the food.
