This place is terrible. They have a decent selection of spirits and a (very) few harder to find ones but their prices are outrageous

A few examples - They had an allocated bottle of bourbon I had been looking for (msrp 250) I asked the girl and they want 550 for it! I also asked if they had another bottle from a specific brand and they didn’t but she said they do have another “hard to find” bottle from that brand (which is not hard to find at all, I see it at basically every other liquor store in the area for 47-50 bucks) and they want 79.99 for it! Get a grip!

I get it the hoighty toighty tuxedo manor mansions are a 10 minute trip down the road but really 50-100% increases on all your bottles? I’ve seen better prices in midtown Manhattan shops. Pure greed at its finest. I’ll never give...

I am a wine drinker, so I can't speak to the selection of liquors. However, Sloatsburg Wine and Liquor has a wonderful selection of varietals and blends. The prices range from very inexpensive to pricier high quality bottles. The prices are all comparable or lower than other local wine shops. All that is fine and good, but what separates Sloatsburg Wine and Liquors from the rest is the knowledge of the owner and staff. They don't hard sell you and give you a chance to wander through the large selection. If you have a question or need help with a selection or recommendation, they can help select the perfect bottle for you. This is even more important if you are buying a gift for a friend.

The new management has completely revamped this store and turned it into exactly what Sloatsburg needed. Prices are very affordable and the selection is incredible. The staff is very friendly and genuinely interested in making sure you have the best experience and find what you are looking for. I won't be going back to a certain "box" liquor store down the road on Route 17 in NJ where you always feel like you are in the way and inconveniencing the staff. Highly...
