Please if you have anyone in your life touched by a food allergy do not go here!
I brought my two year old son there on Sunday, with a big group of people and my older children. My son has a dairy allergy and cannot have ice cream, but loves sprinkles. When I went to order I asked if I could please have sprinkles on the side and I would pay extra for them. The answer was no, because that was their policy. I explained that my son was allergic and would really love some sprinkles. The answer was still no, but the girl said that " I can put the sprinkles on the ice cream and you can shake it onto your hand". I kindly explained that again, my son has a milk allergy and if the sprinkles touched the ice cream, he could not eat it. I offered to buy another whole ice cream, if they would just please put the sprinkles on the side. They said no. I asked to speak to a manager, they said there was no manager, and that I could call the owner at the store when she is in. They left me with the final words "We cant make everyone happy". I cannot believe, that there was absolutely no empathy for a child. A complaint has been filed with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and I will never go back there ever again! I never understood these issues until I became a mother of a child with food allergies, but trust me when I say a little bit of kindness and empathy would have...

Came to visit my brother from California, and he invited us here. my wife ordered first while I was still deciding and she got the vanilla ice cream with waffle cone. One lick and she was amazed! really good ice cream. My brother also got that but with chocolate cookie crumbs on his vanilla ice cream and that was even better! So my wife wanted some and we asked if she could ask some and how much extra and the lady said no. We asked for it separately on a cup and she said no. no problem. We'll get it next time. Then I asked some questions about the pistachio flavor and asked for a sample and that was also a no. So I just ended up getting the vanilla with chocolate crumbs for my wife and exchanged it with her.
Only downside is that we don't always have this creamery at home, so bummed about the strict service. But sometimes that's what it takes to run a...
Read moreEven with unparalleled modern living conditions, it is still impossible to feel as grand as the 17th century emperor Shah Jahan. However, Holy Cow offers a glimpse into such an extraordinary life.
Even on a salary equivalent to the manual laborer sweating profusely while laying the foundation of the Taj Mahal, I was able to purchase a thick chocolate shake, a cone with vanilla soft serve ice cream and chocolate sprinkles, and a small cup of chocolate soft serve ice cream with rainbow sprinkles for under $10, a price so unheard of I could've sworn I was dreaming.
I might not be able to provide my significant other the treatment awarded to Mumtaz Mahal, but this experience was pretty close. For once I was able to dig deep into my jean pocket and not be embarrassed by the lack of cash I was carrying (and do be sure to bring cash - this place has a strong no plastic rectangle policy)! Who needs the authentic Taj Mahal when all of us are capable of constructing one...
