This is not only the pinnacle of Pulaski, but is also the main meeting place in town. If you come in and don't see someone you know, you haven't lived in Pulaski long enough. But you should stay and get to know folks. Eating here is the quickest and easiest way to do that. I've been coming here since it was just Hometown Diner, and since it has become Artie's, it is still one of my favourite places to eat. Maybe even more now since becoming Artie's. The food is amazing, the coffee is excellent, the staff is all friendly and super polite, and the place reflects very well what Pulaski means to a lot of people. It's a fishing community that values faith and feels like home. This all comes from a biased local, but when someone visits and they spend any amount of time in this town and at this wonderful restaurant, which really should have dinner hours, they get a taste of what it means to be a local. Pulaski wouldn't be Pulaski...

A few years ago my husband (then boyfriend) and i had a long weekend stay at the Bella Vista on Autumn lake. During our stay there we stumbled into a small town about 10 mins away (Pulaski,NY). There we found the BEST diner we have ever been to! He and i were blown away by the people, the atmosphere, and of course the food! Their biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, home fries, and homemade toast is beyond comparison to any other diner food. He and i never stopped talking about our trip to la bella vista pr the perfect diner we had found. November, 10 2018 he and i were married and the following weekend we took our honeymoon at la bella vista so that we could recapture the magic that the place leaves on you and above all else to go back to Artie's! They have cast a spell on us and we will forever be under it! If youre ever in the area,...

Two of us stopped in for a late lunch/ early dinner before catching a show at the nearby Kallet Theater. When we walked in, it was immediately apparent that this place is a favorite among locals. We observed the wait staff interacting with the “regulars”. Yet, we were treated with equal friendliness, even though we were out-of-towners. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, medium rare. I requested to swap my chips for coleslaw, for a slight upcharge. The burger was done just right. It was served on a toasted bun. My friend ordered a Reuben sandwich, which came with chips that were made in house. He said that they were fresh and crispy, and that the Reuben was one of the best he’s had. I would like to go back to this place for...

We are traveling through the east coast and have been to this restaurant twice. The food is excellent. We had steak and eggs and we split two chocolate chip pancakes the first trip. The second time was country fried steak and we split the tasty french toast. The coffee was great and request the homemade bread. The town is adorable and you can walk over to the river to walk off all that food. We recommend you visit durning the salmon run.
