Club 55 — Restaurant in Town of Sidney

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The restaurant itself is a beautiful building, open and spacious main seating area with additional separate dining rooms for larger private parties. The staff is sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu. I have been a return customer many times and Club 55 is now my go to spot to bring friends and family. The shrimp tacos are absolutely phenomenal—it’s hard for me to order anything else on the menu because I always want them! The only thing that can prevent me from getting the tacos is the delicious panko fried haddock. Perfectly seasoned, and melt in your mouth delicious. Service (or lack there of) was completely unacceptable and the place seemed severely understaffed for the amount of people there. Only saw one waitress on the entire floor taking orders/bartending and another in the front seating customers.

Had a reservation for a party of nine. 40 minutes after being seated and the waitress has yet to even take an order of drinks. Meanwhile the person in the front was continuing to sit walk-ins.

Nearly a full hour goes by and we start to notice the said groups that came in after us were being served, and our orders still weren’t even taken yet. At this point we were tired of waiting. Got up and left to dine elsewhere.

My husband and I had Club 55 cater our wedding. They arrived on time, were very respectful of our ceremony and guests, and went above and beyond with serving the food. They poured all of our toast drinks and helped clean up the dishes. They even made sure the direct family that could not come to the tent for appetizers because of family photos got warm appetizers.
