I ordered the $14 guacamole through DoorDash and received maybe half a cup, tops. When I called to ask if there’d been a mistake, I was told it was “just one avocado’s worth.” For $14.95 that’s pretty outrageous. I’d expect a little bit more… The person I spoke to wasn’t the least bit apologetic, which only added to the frustration. Safe to say I won’t be ordering from here again.

Had a great time now that things are opening back up, food was great! Music was cool they had a live mariachi band playing in dining room. We both had empanadas and ultimate nachos both were great! Only small thing was the red sangria was a bit strong...didnt care much for it...tres leches cake was AMAZING! Absolutely get a slice if you go! Great work all! We will be back!

Great food and drinks. However, I would suggest that staff does not start washing the floor with bleach while customers are still inside. Also, customer service needs to be taught to the manager. The waiters and waitresses were great but the Manager should learn from them on how to treat customers especially when my party of 8 spent a few hundred dollars.

This was one of our favorite local spots. We've been here numerous times and gained familiarity with the staff. But then... there was a mishap with our meals. My meal was brought out with a certain ingredient that I requested to not have. The bartender was on top of it and sent the meal right back. When my plate came back it was a completely different meal that I didn't ask for. So after that they had to send that back to the kitchen and my date's plate got cold in the meantime. Once it came back out It didn't seem like what I asked for. I ate the meal regardless. His dish was still cold. At the end of the day we got the check we paid it. When I asked the manager why didn't we get any kind of comp or at least a sorry.. he responded very arrogantly that if I asked him the way I did, I get nothing.. it turned into an argument (that my fiance had to get into the middle of) to turn the tables.. it was very tumultuous and unnerving for me. We never make it a point where we need to ask why the service was bad or the food was subpar.. but this was a moment where I felt like I needed to say something. The manager was very rude and confrontational without knowing the situation. After telling him that we've been there multiple times and we'd be back again, he changed his tune. Considering the whole thing. Not going back. Not worth it. They lost a...

I am definitely a regular at margaritas cafe. I have been to all of the locations on Long Island many many times. I live in Lindenhurst and by far my favorite of all your restaurants is smithtown!! The manager Rene is absolutely amazing and always incredibly accommodating. But the server/ bartender named Paolo is awesome also!! He is always cleaning something, helping other servers, in and out of the kitchen and being extremely accommodating to all guests. I wish I owned a restaurant cause I would try to steal him from you. Lol. I absolutely come to this location all the way from Lindenhurst just for the staff. (I pass at least 2 margaritas restaurants on my way here so that says a lot). Rene is an amazing manager and such a great guy just to talk to. The entire staff loves him and you can tell. The entire staff is happy, and always great! Claudia is amazing too!! She always has the biggest smile on her face and is an amazing bartender! She is always helping others and cleaning up making the place look spotless. I’ve never walked away unhappy with a drink or any food from this location. Please make sure they are all taken care of well cause I want to open a restaurant just to steal them from...

The Margaritas I had there were excellent both in taste and amount of booze. The fajitas we're tasty, but my chicken fajitas had pieces of chicken as large as chicken fingers, which do not get a chance to absorb the flavor of the other sizzling ingredients. I'm used to smaller cuts of chicken from other restaurants in the fajitas. Some people might think larger pieces are better, but not for me in this particular dish. My wife had shrimp fajitas, and they were served with the tails on, which makes eating them a little sloppy, as you're supposed to load up your tortillas with a fork and eat them. I thought it rather odd to have to pull the tails off before putting the shrimp in the tortilla. With many shrimp dishes (like shrimp cocktails), it's normally to have to remove the tails yourself, as it is a finger food. I don't think shrimp that have been sauteed or served in a cooked dish should have the tails on. Just me? Nice place, friendly...
