They're not the only Starbucks in town. There are a few others that aren't too far away. For some reason this Starbucks is ALWAYS busy. There has to be a reason for that. Yes, I believe Starbucks is very expensive... But, They are Not Dunkin' Donuts! Starbucks is a big company that makes a lot of money. This particular Starbucks has never made a mistake on an order, at least for me And I've been Going there since they opened. I won't/can't go every day-I'd be broke, especially since I always tip them, even at Dunkin' Donuts because they do work so hard. Almost 100% of the time the employees are seniors in HS or on break from college. You should Always keep in mind... For the most part- it's not the kids fault if in order is incorrect or not exactly how you wanted it. There are other people involved with your order - It's a fast food service industry. I spent 40 years in an industry of service that did not involve tipping. My family is in the service business where they are tipped often & survive on the tips. They all share the tips. I was always a tipper, I can't do it all the time. It's a service industry and these kids make min wage with taxes taken out. I just think it's nice that you put aside .50 cents or a dollar. Whatever change that you have on the floor in the car... The young kids that work there. They deserve it. I factor this in and so does everyone in my family. If you can afford to buy a $6 cup of coffee.. You can afford to give them an extra 50 cents. That's if you're just satisfied with their service. Obviously, if you're not, that's another story.. And if you can't afford to give a small tip, even a quarter... You probably shouldn't be buying a $6 cup of coffee. Even though it's an expensive chain. This particular Starbucks makes it worth it because After you eat what you purchased-like the walnut loaf bread warmed up, chocolate croissant, any of their sandwiches or just one of their "Refreshers" that has a Good amount of caffeine in it!!! (You can order without caffeine as well)... We Always end up being very satisfied and Always go back. It is a very good neighborhood Starbucks. Besides the long lines at the drive-thru, It's pretty cool to have an exceptional Starbucks right smack in the Nesconset neighborhood...
Read moreThere's just something about a smile and knowing your name that hits differently when you walk in here. If you're fueling up for this crazy world, and like i do frequent this store daily sometimes more (I bleed vanilla cold brew dont judgeđ¤Ł) hit this store. My barista, Gianna is the sweetest employee and greets me by name everyday will actually take the time to gets to know you and your orders. The best thing of all though, when she asks how you're doing she actually wants to know and cares. She will often make sure I'm haply with how she prepared it and if I have an issue she's all over it no question. That's customer service and customer retention 101! In my own personal career, I am responsible for working and collaborating to enhance and improve the customer/client experience, 9 times out of 10, its the small personal things that make the most impact. These small lottle jems are overlooked often like acts of humanity, kindness and authenticity which lift up the human spirit and we then pass that forward (hopefully) to the next person who needs it. Thats just good life advise.
I won't go to any other starbucks in the area nor do I use the drivethru because when inside its a different vibe and the smiles are felt not just seen thru a pick up window. To quote an old TV show and give awqy my age..."Everyone loves a place, where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came. Thank you Gianna....2 pumps of vanilla manana I'm...
Read moreI work in the area and do not have the ability to leave my building as I am the only manager on staff. I do order from Uber eats from time to time from this location - within the passed 9 days I have ordered coffee 3 times - same order each time venti iced white chocolate mocha, no whip, vanilla sweet cream foam and cinnamon powder. Each of these three times the order has not been correct. Whether it be no cinnamon or whipped cream instead of the vanilla sweet cream foam - I understand that this seems small however, the order is printed on the sticker that goes on the cup - so why is it that your workers arenât reading the orders. This is frustrating bc customers are paying a lot more than Starbucks prices for their orders- and in some cases cannot be refunded. This is doubly frustrating bc I do not have a choice when I order to pick up - I rely on your workers to do their jobs accurately to assure I am getting my order correctly. It probably wouldnât be a big deal if this wasnât becoming an ongoing issue.
Iâm just asking for you to...
